Fantastic tour
We had such a brilliant time on the York Ghost Tour yesterday with Lu! 👻 They were fantastic — funny, engaging and a brilliant storyteller, bringing York’s spooky history to life in such an entertaining way. The tour was really enjoyable from start to finish, with just the right mix of history, ghost stories and humour. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend Lu’s tour to anyone visiting York. 👻✨

Fantastic tour !
Greg is an amazing driver and guide. Full of knowledge of York and its area. The whole trip was excellent Greg changed the timings slightly at our request so we could spend a short time in Goathland taking photos of the Heartbeat location. He saw us on board the steam train and met us at Whitby Station to arrange final pick up. Can highly recommend.

Wonderfully entertaining tour of York's ghostly side
Dante was a wonderfully dramatic guide keeping us fascinated and hilariously entertained for over 90 minutes. We saw far more of York than we expected with new stories at every turn. We all loved it from the 2 to the 70 year old! Great value and highly recommended.

Great Tour Thanks McKenzie
I took my 6 year old son on this tour on Tuesday. He was by far the youngest person but McKenzie was very accommodating. The tour was just on the right side of spooky and although there weren’t any punches pulled on some of the descriptions, there weren’t no jump scares or things that bothered him.
It’s clear that McKenzie has a passion for York and it’s pretty grim history and she was very knowledgeable about the truth of certain events that have common misconceptions or misinformation surrounding them.
She also spoke passionately about paranormal activity and her first hand experience. If you’re in York and you have any interest in it’s past or ghosts, it is well worth going on this tour.

Mad Alice is the best!
It was a really good experience and Mad Alice was funny, knowledgeable and she has impressive memory! She knew all the tour participants by name and spoke to all individually with great interet!
She is witty and know her stuff! I Highly recommend this experience!

Fantastic day tour from York!
Fantastic day trip from York! I was visiting my nephew, who has lived in York for three years, and has wanted to venture to Whitby. This trip included more sights than we expected. Our driver/tourguide, Kevin, was amazing - knowledgeable, kind, and had a great sense of humor. Every stop on this trip was wonderful. The ride on the steam train from Goathland to Whitby took us back in time. Our only recommendation is to include another hour in Whitby! 😊 There’s so much to see there. We explore the Abbey, had a pint at the Whitby Brewery, browsed the Jet shops, and had delicious fish & chips at Trenchers (takeaway due to time). Go on this tour with Mountain Goat Tour, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic trip!
Mark was a very knowledgeable tour guide (and remembered names immediately!). He was kind, efficient, gave great advice about things like bathrooms when arriving at each location, and was very clear about meet up places and times. He took us to many great spots throughout the moors and Whitby.

fun with chocolate
If you love chocolate and want to make your own bar with a choice of flavour, then go for it.
Our teacher was knowledgeable and presented the whole process of chocolate making, starting with cocoa pods, in a very accessible way for all ages. It was great fun to make your own chocolate bar, choosing your own flavour, and a range of other treats added into the chocolate to design your own chocolate bar.

Amazing and magical ✨
My guide Molly was amazing. Talking with her was like sharing a passion with an old friend. You can see her love for the city and the world of Harry Potter. I highly recommend this tour if you happen to visit York and love Harry Potter. Great job, Molly! 🐍

Real good
It was really good very entertaining, my child is 11 yrs and most of the other children were 6/8 yrs so very good for younger children but bit boring for my child he needed older stuff , I would definitely recommend for younger kids it was great, do it to keep the kids entertained and tired after the walk.. really good in my opinion

First time in a dungeon,...
First time in a dungeon, wasn't really sure what to expect. It was out of the comfort zone booking, but we truly enjoyed.
The performances and entertainment was absolutely amazing, kids aging from 7-14 got really engaged. The show wasn't only entertaining, it was informative too, we learn few new facts on local history.
Great performances, if you enjoy good sense of humour and don't take offence easily, would really recommend..

The most comprehensive York tour in all of York.
Dave is so knowledgable and truly joyful about his history niche that this tour is overloaded with reasons to go. It was unique in that it was open-ended - as long as we wanted to make the tour. He offered an all-day option - though I left after 3 ish hours and a lovely coffee break, during which Dave also demonstrated his James Bond trivia expanse. Rarely does one see someone so enjoying his job.
