A wonderfully spooky and dramatic tour. Full of local lore and history told by a very entertaining Davina Deathly. It was rainy, cold and windy…excellent conditions for night time tour of York! 100% would recommend to anyone wanting a fun way to see the city, I would say definitely book an evening slot as the dark makes all the difference and the tour guides play on that really well.

Really enjoyed our ghost story tour. Dante was our guide he was funny and entertaining, an expert ghost storyteller. Would definitely recommend. I e done a York ghost tour in York before and this was the best.

Didn't catch the tour guide's name but they were amazing (long hair, blue/green highlights, big chunky boots). Very committed to the role. Said they had been doing it for 11 years, absolutely believable. Superb knowledge and story telling.
In addition to that, there was a very special moment. My daughter (11 years old, quirky and doesn't follow normal trends) was doing some weird pose/dance (I'm not sure haha) whilst we were waiting for the whole group to catch up. The tour guide noticed and said "stay weird it's good for you". Not only did she say it very nonchalant and cool (kids call it aura farming I think) but my daughter values her individuality very much. We are always telling her to stay weird and for her to hear that from a stranger meant a lot to her and me. Much love for that!

Mostly it was great fun with some ghostly stories of Yorks past! Dafydd our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, entertaining and created a perfect atmosphere throughout the 90 mins. We enjoyed browsing the shop and purchased a few books to take home written by Dorian who served us. This tour is a must if you ate visiting york.

Our guide Dalton delivered an amazingly spooky experience! Ghosts and gore wrapped in some cheeky humor. The stories were creepy, the history was fascinating, and he kept the whole group entertained from start to finish. A must-do if you’re visiting York and want a fun, eerie night out. This is a fun, lighthearted and informative walking tour of some of the city's key attractions but with a deadly twist, delivered with theatrical perfection by the eloquent guide Dante Deadly, who frankly, wouldn't be put of place as lead role in Shakespeare.
Not for kids though, I think it would scare them.

Our guide, Darreth I believe, was an absolute hoot. He made the best of the torrential downpour that happened on our tour and had the entire crowd laughing. This was super fun for an evening in York.
