Great tour of the Great and Small

This was one of our favorite tours of our trip. We loved our guide who was knowledgeable and funny, and had a gentle spirit. It was a beautiful day driving through the hills and dales through and to communities we have become familiar with through the James Herriot series. I recommend this one very highly!

Fantastic day tour from York!

Fantastic day trip from York! I was visiting my nephew, who has lived in York for three years, and has wanted to venture to Whitby. This trip included more sights than we expected. Our driver/tourguide, Kevin, was amazing - knowledgeable, kind, and had a great sense of humor. Every stop on this trip was wonderful. The ride on the steam train from Goathland to Whitby took us back in time. Our only recommendation is to include another hour in Whitby! 😊 There’s so much to see there. We explore the Abbey, had a pint at the Whitby Brewery, browsed the Jet shops, and had delicious fish & chips at Trenchers (takeaway due to time). Go on this tour with Mountain Goat Tour, you will not be disappointed!

Great event and something worth doing!

What a great day out and amazing activity. We learnt a lot about chocolate. The guy running the course was really informative and supportive especially as we had young children with us. Highly recommend this to anyone to do! The end chocolate bars were amazing!

It was really good very entertaining, my child is 11 yrs and most of the other children were 6/8 yrs so very good for younger children but bit boring for my child he needed older stuff , I would definitely recommend for younger kids it was great, do it to keep the kids entertained and tired after the walk.. really good in my opinion

First time in a dungeon,...

First time in a dungeon, wasn't really sure what to expect. It was out of the comfort zone booking, but we truly enjoyed. The performances and entertainment was absolutely amazing, kids aging from 7-14 got really engaged. The show wasn't only entertaining, it was informative too, we learn few new facts on local history. Great performances, if you enjoy good sense of humour and don't take offence easily, would really recommend..

Dave was phenomenal. He had such expert knowledge of the area and took us to places that we would have never found without him. Dave’s knowledge was unmatched and he even gave us options for further travel around England. He is a local who is passionate and cares about creating a realistic experience for visitors. He knows all of the locals, introducing us to them, effectively making us feel part of the community. Loved it!

We booked the cruise for 6pm. Rocked up ay 5.40 and all the tables were taken! Managed to get two seats right up front though so we had an amazing view once we set off. There was a good mix of music and tour operator talk throghout. We got 20% off at bar and fish and chips tasty and lovely and hot. Would highly recommend this experience if visiting York!
