This shared tour starts with a transfer from Victoria Falls at 06:50 in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle heading northwards to Chobe National Park. Cross the border into Botswana and get into a 4x4 open sided vehicle that transfers us to the office. Tea /coffee is served at the office before hopping onto a boat cruise for a three hour sail. No better way to be close to animals than on the boat. Lunch is served after the boat experience and embark on a game drive for another 3 hours where we expect to see a lot of game before a transfer to the border where we unite with our 4 x 4 air conditioned vehicle for a transfer back to our hotel in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. The park is close to the edge of the Kalahari desert, a region with little water and very sparse, xerophile vegetation. The Kalahari woodland is dominated by Zambezi Teak, Sand Camwood (Baphia) and Kalahari bauhinia. Seasonal wetlands form grasslands in this area. The north and north-west of the park are dominated by mopane woodland. Although it has been argued that elephant populations cause change in vegetation structure, some recent studies suggest that this is not the case, even with the large increases in elephant population recorded in the late 1980s. The Park hosts over 100 mammal and 400 bird species, including 19 large herbivores and eight large carnivores. All Zimbabwe's specially protected animals are to be found in Hwange and it is the only protected area where gemsbok and brown hyena occur in reasonable numbers. Grazing herbivores are more common in the Main Camp Wild Area and Linkwasha Concession Area, with mixed feeders more common in the Robins woodlands.

Informative, fun and really easy & safe. Really good guides both sides and an easy border crossing (kaza bisa). They provide ponchos but I’m glad I also took ziplocks for my electricals. Most of the trails are dry to damp (in June) but when you’re really close to the falls spray it’s soaking.

Fabulous Falls day trip!

We were expertly guided around Victoria Falls by the super friendly and knowledgeable Phila and Jason. The trip offered great value for money and included a tour of theFalls, the sunset cruise and the BOMA dinner. We asked to be dropped at the lookout café for lunch which they willingly accommodated. I would recommend hiring the poncho and wearing crocs or similar shoes. You WILL get wet!

Fantastic experience and amazing night. Staff were brilliant and we enjoyed the drinks and the food. The only thing I would change would be the time we had at the Eatery after the cruise. It was too short to enjoy the excellent meal and we felt hurried to finish on time to leave. Otherwise heartily recommended to everyone.

Just wow!

Just back from the half day rafting and wow! what an experience. Andrew, Abraham and the team did an amazing job. The experience ended up being a private one as we were the only 2 on the day and to say I was nervous beforehand would be an understatement but the team did a fantastic job of putting us at ease. To have photos and lunch included, was a huge plus too. Thank you for such a fantastic last day of our holiday!! Things to know ahead of the trip... - The experience starts from Zambia so if, like us, you are staying on the Zimbabwe side you need to take your passports and go through immigration. - The walk down to the gorge was steep, but had steps. The walk back up was a slightly different experience, it was steep with uneven footing but still doable. Definitely need a good pair of shoes to do both ways. - At the lodge stop, where you have lunch afterwards, there are no toilet facilities and so no ability to easily get changed. This meant that the travel back, which is quite a long trip, can get a little bit chilly (it was beginning of March) as we were still in our wet clothes. Just sharing as useful information and in no way did any of it detract from a fantastic experience!!!

Awesome experience from Vic Falls. Guide Ethan was great, we drove around 100 miles in the park through all kinds of random trails. Morning was very quiet, missed out on some lions, but afternoon was epic with lions, painted dogs, zebras, wildebeast, too many to list. Drive to within 10 feet of 3 sleeping lions who ignored us completely. Saw nobody else in the park for hours at a time. Went to Chobe the day before which seemed full of tourists in comparison. Chobe had a more dense animal and people population, whereas Hwange was definitely more of the desolate, rugged safari vibe.

A smooth and relaxing...

A smooth and relaxing journey along the Zambezi with breathtaking scenery throughout. We spotted plenty of wildlife along the riverbanks, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a rich variety of birdlife, all in a calm, unspoiled setting. The crew were professional and knowledgeable, adding to an already seamless experience. Highly recommended.

A fabulous tour of the falls.

We met our local guide who was extremely informative about the history of the falls and had an excellent knowledge of the local birds and wildlife. We were the only couple on the tour and our guide "Peela" was keen to find out what we wanted from the experience. We had beautiful, full views of the falls from all vantage points, it was an incredible visit to Victoria falls. One tip, would be to book at cooler times of the day.

The canopy tour was a super relaxed but fun introduction to ziplining, and even my husband who's afraid of heights had a great time! Surrounded by the gorgeous view of the Batoka gorge and with the help of our guides, Michael and Gift, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who would like to have a go at some ziplines whilst also enjoying the surroundings.

Beautiful and challenging rafting experience!

A top-notch rafting experience but the decent and accent from the gorge are quite a challenge. We are in our mid-sixties and in good shape but the hikes down and out of the gorge were tough - boulder and ladder climbing included. Just a warning. And good shoes are important. That aside, the guides and all of the crew were the best, the rafting was super fun and the scenery was gorgeous! Highly recommend!
