On this tour, clients are picked up as early as06:50 am-7:00am, but they should be prepared 15 minutes before picking up time. Then they will be driven to Kazungula boarder, the drive takes about 45-60 minutes. upon arriving we crossing over to the Botswana side. Important Travel Note : Always carry Birth Certificates when traveling with kids across the border for this Tour or any that has immigration processes.KAZA Visa ideal for the tour, obtainable at any entry into Zambia,Botswana or Zimbabwe at $50,00 per person. It allows multi day entries within the region borders.

It's was wonderful tour. The open safari vehicle was very comfortable and we saw quite few animals including lions. The boat tour was very interesting too. We saw crocodiles and hippos.

The tour was just PERFECTION. From the land Safari to the boat tour I’m confident to say it was one of the most memorable experiences if my life. Mateo (Jeep guide) and Large (boat guide) made this experience 10000 more incredible taking us super close to the animals and making us feel so special.

Absolutely amazing!! I had never been on safari before, but made to feel safe and at ease by the whole team. Everything went smoothly and the whole day was enjoyable, seeing some incredible wildlife. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to do this activity.

Chobe National Park stole my heart years ago and it still holds the most special part. Nature our guide in the park was awesome and we even saw the elusive leopard. Large our guide on the river was also great and as he knew we were bird fans he stopped for so many different species.

Chobe National Park was one of the most incredible places I’ve visited! We saw hundreds of elephants and dozens of other animals including a pride of lionesses up close. Lunch was included and was surprisingly good and the boat tour was a nice relaxing way to spend the other half of the day watching hippos and more elephants. The whole area is just so stunning and filled with wildlife.
However, this tour definitely is one of those large tour groups that sometimes can feel disorganized and impersonal. You get picked up by a separate driver that will then hand you off to another driver at the border. At the end of the tour, we were shuttled from the lodge where you have lunch and the boat tour back to the border. This process was a bit chaotic as the instructions were unclear and everyone was confused on which vehicle to get on.
The border crossing into Botswana took two hours (which the guides did say was unusually long) but we were picked up from our hotel in Livingstone at 6:30am and didn’t begin the safari drive until 10:00am. However I did appreciate the guides making a strong effort to expedite the process and they ended up pulling us out of the line to a dedicated line for tourists going to a safari.
The safari drive itself felt rushed. If it wasn’t for us and the other people in the group we would’ve missed so many animal sightings because the driver was zooming until we pointed out that we saw animals nearby. Despite that, it was still a great experience because of how there was so much wildlife everywhere. You look left and right at any given minute and there was something to see. The highlight was this large meadow that you drive down to and you can see herds of elephants as far as the eyes can see.
Despite the chaos, I still recommend this tour. The guides were friendly and tried their best to make the experience good. Understandably for this price point, you won’t get too much of a personalized experience so keep that in mind. Again, the national park is teeming with wildlife and is a must do.

Pleasant and eventful journey. Overall it is an exciting adventure, where one gets to see and learn a lot about the wildlife. The trip includes a ride in the park and a cruise on a motorboat. This way people get to see the spectacular park from all possible angles. I would definitely recommend taking this one, time well spent!

Loved Chobe! Going through immigration was smooth, and all the guides made this tour amazing! As soon as we got to the park, after about 5 minutes of driving, a leopard walked out of the bushes, such a beautiful animal!! I would've been fine going home after that. We drove around for a couple of hours and saw lions, giraffes, impalas, lots of elephants, and had a couple of velvet monkeys jump in the vehicle lol....hide your food! After the safari, we had lunch at near by lodge, very good! After lunch it was off to the river safari! Saw tons of hippos, crocs, elephants, and buffalo. A day in Chobe is a must! I highly recommend this tour!

More elephants than we’ve ever seen before in large family herds - seen from both car & boat.
Plenty of buffalo, hippos & crocodiles seen from boat.
Sable antelopes were spectacular.

Amazing day! Convenient, helpful, and friendly transport with pick up and drop off by David., With changes from dry to rainy season, we’re told could be 50/50 in seeing animals depending on what weather did. We saw nearly every animal we hoped! Lions, elephants, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, impala (lots!) and more. Our guide Joe was amazing, flexible, and went beyond expectation to enable us to see them. Boat ride with driver Large was also special, with up close croc pics, buffalo and lots of hippos and birds.
Food and drinks were very good.

It is a must if ever in Livingstone. The borders between Zambia and Botswana is greatly managed . The tour company is excellent concerning pick up and drop off from my lodge specially the fine driver they provide it to me.Both the river game Safari and Jeep were excellent. The tour starts with a pick up from Avani hotel, and we proceeded to the border at Botswana. The immigration process was smoothly arranged by the personnel there.
We then meet up with the rest of the group and started our 3 hour game drive in Chobe National Park. Mataeo was our guide and he was very informative.
We saw lion, lots of elephants, impalas, mongoose, baboons and many more animals. We then proceed for buffet lunch and followed by a cruise by the river.
Over here we get to witness hippos, kingfishers, elephants showering by the stream.
We did the river cruise for 2 hours and we were send back to the border and to the hotel.
Overall it was great arrangement packed with lots of fun and I would recommend you to try this!

I book with HSM Adventures Tours & Safaris the day trip to Chobe National Park of Botswana starting from Livingstone (Zambia). Everything rolled perfect! I was picked up on time, driven to the Kazungula borders where I was accompanied throughout the whole process. A new team was waiting for us, drove us in the park where we had a three hour great tour, spotting elephants, hippos, lions, giraffes, crocodiles, impalas and so many other species of the wild nature, respecting though their environment at all times. Finishing the safari tour we had lunch at Cresta Mowana resort by the Chobe river. The variety of the buffet was spectacular! After the lunch, we chilled during a two hour boat safari in the river enjoying the wildlife from another point of view. Lastly, we were driven back to Livingstone following the reverse process. Overall, it was a smooth day trip according to the plan, the guides (like Mateo) were well prepared and tentative while the driver (William) was careful and effective in driving. I fully enjoyed the day and I can certainly suggest it!

We were picked up punctually at 06:40, from Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya it took 1.5 hours bus to the border. The formalities were fixed, the driver helped us. In Botswana on the border we were picked up by 2 guides and in about 30 min we were in the Chobe. The safari went along the Chobe River and a bit inland. We have seen many animals: Elephants, monkeys, impalas, kudus, giraffes, hippos and as a highlight lions. It was great! Lunch was served at 13:00 at a hotel on the Chobe River. It was delicious and something of everything: Fish, beets, chicken, rice, vegetables, salads, sauces. From there we went straight to the boat. Also the boat tour was great. There were hippos on land and in the water, herds of elephants, a herd of buffalo, herds of impala and a giant crocodile. The ride was over way too fast. The return trip to Livingstone went well and our driver took us there to a local restaurant. A successful conclusion!
