The tour is a personal...

Jill_C, Apr 2026
The tour is a personal event, only for the people who have booked. They have their own driver and guide and are picked up from their resort. Both Guide and driver were excellent. The Falls were flowing very fast, so, despite renting waterproofs, we were absolutely soaked by the end of the walk and had to return to our resort to change. This should be emphasised before leaving the resort so a change of clothing could be taken. We missed out on visiting the Open Market, but decided to go there on our own the following day. You spend most of the afternoon at your resort before being picked up for the Sundown cruise. Drinks and fairly substantial snacks are provided, but afterwards you are taken for dinner at the Boma. A little too much food for us in one evening.

Beautiful Vic falls and sunset cruise. Food disapointing

Mordechai_H, Mar 2026
First, I have to give high marks for flexibility. Our flight was delayed by a day and we practically missed the activity as it was supposed to start at 8AM. Instead of saying we are out of luck, the team said we can do the the sunset cruise and Boma dinner in the evening and then next morning we were able to visit the Victoria Falls. Both the cruise and the falls are magnificent. the only negative is the quality of the food on both the sunset cruise and the Boma. I would say it was mediocre. Everyone was wonderful and welcoming and I would have give this a 5 stars had the food been better

Fantastic and Kind Team, well organized, a great time!

Steven_Q, Jan 2026
The team was very kind, communicative, informative, knowledgeable, and a blast to be around! They take care of you at every step, and made sure we had a fantastic experience!

Over priced excursion

Ivo_H, Jan 2026
Definitely not worth the price for this one It still doesn't include entrance fees of $50pp and $10pp tax Basically you are paying for a taxi to pick you up land drive you back and forth which would run you about $20 total on own and a guide that walks you through the falls which are numbered anyway just ask chat gpt 20 facts about Vic falls I was truly disappointed with this one but it's my fault cause I didn't do the research

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Thank you for your honest personal perspective. The convenience of the full day experience is that you enjoyed the best of Victoria Falls with a personal guide and transportation at your leisure for a full day from 0830am to 10pm. The tour began with a visit to the famous ancient big tree . Then to a 2 and half hour fully guided Vic Falls waterfall and rainforest tour (unfortunately the entrance fee of us$50 is the standard Government fee) . This was followed by a Vic Falls bridge tour with an option (paid) to cross over to the Zambia side. Lunch was at your chosen restaurant. Then followed the guided African Craft Market Tour and then hotel drop off for refreshing. We then picked and took you for the 2 and half hour evening boat cruise with cruise fee, canapés and open bar included in the tour price with memorable water wildlife game viewing and the remarkable Zambezi sunset (the us$10 is another unavoidable Government Levy). After which we then chauffeured you to the unforgettable Boma Dinner, Dance and Drum Show with Dinner included in the tour price for an authentic African cuisine buffet with game meat on spit roast and much much more, traditional dance and participatory drumming experience at The Boma-arguably one of the most famous traditional dining experiences in Africa today. Ending with a transfer back to hotel around 10pm. While we appreciate, understand and value your perspective, our aim is to give our valued customers a seamless, flexible, hustle free experience of the best of Victoria Falls in one full day at a reasonable price that if activities, guide and transport where booked individually would most likely double the price without the convenience of a seamlessly curated day tour, local knowledgeable guide and air conditioned transportation at your disposal for a full day.

Loved the "Smoke that Thunders" and much more!

Elzbieta_S, Oct 2025
It's been fun to visit Victoria Falls and have a break before we wnet on the boat ride to see hippos and crocodiles as well as birds, and to have supper at the Boma & Dinner Show, which was a unique cultural experience of delicious food and great African drumming. I would recomend it to anyone!

Michelle_R, Oct 2025
Locks was a wonderful guide and did things at our pace (I was with my elderly grandmother). Highly recommend this tour however be advised it was a 4km round trip in scorching heat.

Excellent

Margarite_C, Oct 2025
Absolutely loved this full day trip. Our guide Lucke was so bubbly with a great sense of humour but very informative and looked after our safety at all times. Great value for money. Loved every minute.

Great excursion

Sarah_D, Sep 2025
Lovely day visiting the falls, very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Really enjoyed the cruise and Boma dinner. Highly recommend this tour.

ANDREW_B, Sep 2025
Best way to "do" Victoria Falls in a day. Zambezi sunset cruise is a unique way to see lots of wildlife....didn't expect to see so much! Boma dinner is great fun (think twice before trying the worm-eating challenge though)

It was fabulous and our guide Locke was knowledgeable about the falls and connected well with our group.

Vic.Falls private full day tour.

Dorothy_W, Sep 2025
An awesome day that captured alot of the main attractions. It was most professionally led by Jason, our driver, and Locks, our guide. They went above and beyond to cater for our every need and adjusted our day when the heat became a bit of a challenge. Our son left his hat on the sunset cruise boat. Jason, on his day off, collected the hat, kept in contact and delivered it to us. We were so appreciative of that as well as both their efforts to ensure we had a superb day. Lunch at Bains overlooking the Zambezi River was excellent, as was the sunset cruise followed by the Boma dinner. Of course our walk the length of the falls was spectacular with Locks giving us plenty of information along the way.

Very good tour

KeatHuah_S, Aug 2025
First of all, it was not a private tour as stated in the description. We had one other couple doing the tour with us. That said, Bantu Safaris was very flexible when we wanted to have coffee at Lookout Cafe, and the other couple wanted to do their own helicopter ride - both of which were extra activities. Our morning guide was very cheerful and knowledgeable. Our driver for the afternoon who took us to the river cruise and the BOMA show was also very nice. We liked the experiences from this tour a lot.

The Falls from every angle

Kelly_S, Aug 2025
Locks was a great guide for our walk on the Zimbabwe side, stopping at all vistas. She was very accommodating for different ones in the group and what they wanted to do. We had about 30 minutes to shop for souvenirs at the local African market. Then we had a beautiful sunset cruise on the Zambezi River where we saw plenty of hippos. The snacks and the drinks on the cruise were plentiful. Lastly, the Boma dinner was superb. Great African entertainment. Ton’s of food. And we all tried the mopani worm so that we could get our certificate. It was a long day but very enjoyable. A great trip for those who are trying to see plenty.

Kevin_S, Jul 2025
We're seated at the back for the Boma dinner show. Food was very good but there pretty much was no show as all you saw was the multiple tables in front of you as the show was on a recessed floor.

Solo experience

Michelle_J, Jun 2025
Bantu Safaris staff were very knowledgeable and wonderful to answer all my questions. I felt very safe as a solo traveler.

Day in Victoria Fall

Vijay_K, May 2025
An excellent experience on fall and at dinner. However, one must cater for the various tips to be paid as it is expected by all conducting your. It is a day well spent and in short time the Victoria fall can be seen.

Great for first timers to Vic Falls

Reggi_K, Apr 2025
Had a great time with both of our female tour guides who were friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and were full of knowledge. It was a jam-packed day, and I was glad we had an hour break to go to our hotel after lunch to change. Wore closed shoes which were drenched from Vic Falls.

Great guides!!!

Todd_H, Apr 2025
Thoroughly enjoyed my full day Victoria Falls experience. My guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and an entertaining. Even got me a phone charger when my battery went down unexpectedly. I would highly recommend this tour and guide team.

Outstanding Service

Anthony_L, Mar 2025
They do an all day experience of Victoria Falls the big tree river sunset cruise and dinner at a top notch restaurant. Ask for Phila and Jason. They were our guides and they went beyond expectations.

Excellent tour

Anne_D, Jan 2025
Great guide and driver. Very professional company. Victoria Falls were amazing and truly breathtaking. We skipped lunch, opting to return to the hotel until 4pm for the sunset cruise and drum show which were spectacular.

The Falls are beautiful

Melva_M, Jan 2025
I was picked up on time by Jason and Locke (not sure if that's the correct spelling of her name). I began my tour on the Zimbabwe side of The Falls and it was beautiful! Locke was filled with knowledge and was a great photographer! I then toured the Zambia side of The Falls and had a great time there also. I returned to my hotel to have lunch and wait to be picked up for the sunset cruise. The cruise was nice, calming and peaceful. I didn't see many animals (not anyone's fault) but I did enjoy the animals that I did see. After the cruise, Jason dropped me off at the Boma Dinner and Drum show. (The morning of the tour, I had to give Locke 65.00 USD to cover the cost of the dinner that evening). What I didn't know at the time, was the Boma Dinner was held at the facilities I was staying. I booked a dinner there before my trip to celebrate on my birthday and I only had to pay them directly 55.00 USD. What I didn't like? It seems like there were a lot of fees, like I mentioned me unnecessarily attending the Boma dinner twice, the boat fees, the park fees. Overall, the 50.00 Falls fee, River usage fee 10.00, and 65.00 Boma dinner fees were paid by me. In hindsight, the price paid for the tour may have been too high to have to still spend an additional 125.00 to complete the tour.

Victoria Falls

Anita_D, Dec 2024
I can’t think of enough adjectives to describe how amazing this tour was, coupled with the wonderful Locks who was incredibly knowledgeable about Victoria Fall. It may have been a more amazing trip seeing the Falls in high season.

Wonderful experience in victoria falls

ssango_s, Dec 2024
Very good tour operator because they adjust the schedule to meet our requeata. Easy to talk to and even make sure we go home safely. Will definitely recomment Bantu Tour operators to those who would like to experience experience victoria falls in zimbabwe

Best Tour - see it all in 1 day!

IDA_A, Dec 2024
The Boma Dinner and Drums was spectacular! The Sunset cruise was outstanding! And of course, Victoria Falls are a world wonder, a must see!

Great tour for seeing the Victoria Falls, as well as getting passport stamps for both Zimbabwe and Zambia

Patrick_S, Nov 2024
I had a great time on this tour! My favorite part was exploring the falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides. By doing this, you get to visit both countries and you get passport stamps from both countries to show for it! Even going in November during the driest part of the season and with the unusually low rainfall that Zimbabwe experienced in this particular year, the waterfalls were still quite spectacular to see in person. Locks was my tour guide for the Zimbabwe side of the Victoria Falls. She did an excellent job showing me the route, explaining the history and geological background surrounding the falls. In addition, Jay was my driver and guide for the 2nd half of my day. He was very accommodating with my schedule, and was very friendly as well. The 2nd half of the tour consisted of a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, as well as a dinner at the Boma Restaurant. Both were fun events and I recommend if you want to see wildlife on a river and enjoy drinks, as well as socialize and participate in a drum ceremony. Overall, if you are in Victoria Falls, I recommend this as an activity to do!

10 star tour

SANDRA_K, Nov 2024
Guide walk to the 16 viewpoints at Victoria Falls was magnificent. The afternoon river cruise was spectacular. We saw elephants and hippos and baboons and crocodile. Definite must do. The evening dinner was a production in itself. The smokers board was huge a lot of traditional food and the best desserts. 10 out of 10 for this tour.

Probably best to do Falls and Boma seperately

MichaelL_H, Oct 2024
Even in the dry season, the Falls are worth seeing. Really enjoyed the long walk thru the Zimbabwe side of the park. The evening dinner and show at the Boma were also good. Unfortunately, the sunset cruise was crowded and the service was not good. Lots of people kept mobbing our table since we had a good vantage point. The baobab tree stop took just minutes and the lunch, while at a beautiful site, was on us. Then we had a weird 3 hr break where they just dropped us off and came back later. They really should find something to fill that if you want to call it a full day experience

Response from Host, Oct 2024

Thank you for your candid review. Glad that you enjoyed the Falls and Boma Dinner. Lunch is not included as advertised. The time after lunch is supposed to be for the market tour, which you declined. Some of our clients, at this time prefer to cross the border to view the Falls from the Zambian Side or go to the famous Devils pool, but this comes at an extra cost. After the market tour, we take our clients back to their hotel to shower/refresh or , at their discretion, to sight see or have drinks at local restaurants before the sunset cruise and then the Boma Dinner. We try to balance the experience to be a bit flexible, fun, leisurely and affordable. Kindly accept our apologies if the experience did not meet your expectations.

Great way to see all the sites on a quick VF visit

Lindsey_S, Sep 2024
My only complaint is that this tour was advertised as a private tour, and it was a group tour of about 8. It should be advertised as “small group”. Our tour guide Locks was awesome! She was able to fit in some customizations for us while the group went to lunch. Jason our driver as also stellar. I loved the victoria falls walk, the river cruise, the boma dinner. It was a perfect way to hit all the highlights as we were only in VF for a quick 2 days. Thank you for the great experience!!

Toni_S, Sep 2024
This was an amazing experience. It is a long day but would totally recommend it. Just remember if your staying in Zambia your tour guide can't pick you up unless you pay extra since the trip is in Zimbabwe.

Abandoned by Driver

Kris_M, Sep 2024
This was a two part trip where the guide providing a tour of Victoria Falls followed by a break, then a nice, enjoyable sunset cruise, followed by the Boma dinner and entertainment which ended around 9:30 pm. About 15 minutes before the Show ended, the Driver promised to return and drive us back to the Hotel. HE NEVER returned! we waited firman hour till finally a good samaritan helped us. My wife and I are disabled senior citizens. The driver should not go unpunished for his behavior. it was on Friday, 29th Aug; 2024:
