I paid online but when I arrived the site a black guy singled me out and asked for US$25 extra. He said it is for helicopter parking fees. I asked why I was the only person here to be asked to pay more, he then waived the charge. I was alone to join this flight. All the fees should be made transparent.

View from the top can never be compared to viewing on the ground. The splendor and spectacular waterfall curtain can be seen in its entirety. Watch the mighty Zambezi and its islands as the ravaging flow approaches the waterfall and turn into the meandering gorge. Far down below emerges water from the power generating tunnel producing electricity for Livingstone hydro power station. The helicopter route is well planned for an efficient view from above. Definitely a “flight of the angels”!!

The ride itself was fantastic. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is that I listed my hotel being in Livingstone, Zambia, and it was confirmed. I was failed to be notified I needed to meet the driver at the border that they wouldn’t come to my hotel. I didn’t find out this information until the day before when I called them to see what the pick up time was. This information should be on the site or in the confirmation email. Everyone was cordial and helpful.

What a beautiful experience. I booked it a couple of hours before on the same day. They reached out to me and everything was so easy. For those who are staying in Zambia side, they can arrange for you to be taken to the Zimbabwe border for an extra fee and then, they pick you up from the other side take you to the helicopter point (not on the description but was easy to sort out). The pilot was amazing, 20 years of experience. The video they make for you is nice! Truly breathtaking experience.

This was a very memorable experience for our family of 4 (2 children). We are happy that we purchased a professionally made film of our experience from the on-site photographer for US$30. We have watched it over and over and sent it to family and friends.
While not really related to the experience itself, please be aware of the misleading wording on Viator in regard to extra fees. You will need to pay an extra US$25 per person for this; not $15 park fees per person and one lot of $10 fuel levy as it reads on Viator. This is worth it but could be an issue if you don’t come prepared with the extra money because of what is written.

Unbelievable, the view was incredible! Even though it was dry season, so the falls aren’t in full flow, it was awesome, still highly recommend! Our pilot also found a herd of elephants and giraffes for us - just magical! Pilot was a lovely man, answered all my questions!

What a memorable experience!
Well worth the money, the only regret I have is that I took the 15minute one and not the 30min.
Afterwards they give you the option to buy the video for R500 but you are also allowed to take your own camera and cell with.
