We met our local guide who was extremely informative about the history of the falls and had an excellent knowledge of the local birds and wildlife.
We were the only couple on the tour and our guide "Peela" was keen to find out what we wanted from the experience.
We had beautiful, full views of the falls from all vantage points, it was an incredible visit to Victoria falls.
One tip, would be to book at cooler times of the day.

Trevor our guide was amazing. He was very knowledgable about the area. Warned us of high risk wet areas and also had a joke with us. Most importantly he never rushed us around, we did the tour at a great liesurely pace.

Roland was our tour guide and he did an amazing job! He was very informative and allowed us plenty of time to stop for photos and just admire the beautiful falls. We didn’t have a rental car so they made it easy for us to get to the falls as they provided transportation as part of our booking fee. Roland was amazing and the company was very professional.

Wow .. what a brilliant tour !!! Our guide was Trevor .. a lovely lovely man !! He picked us up on time at 10am and drove us to the falls (explaining the local architecture of the town on route and the $50 entrance fee to the national park) .. nothing to do with the tour itself (ie. Even visitors on foot pay a fee varying on whether they are local or international). Trevor was extremely knowledgeable, giving us great advice (particularly when it came to ponchos .. an absolute ‘must’ this time of year !!). He explained the history of the Falls, the route we were going to take and gave us superb advice on the best photo opportunities. The scenery was breathtaking. By the end we were absolutely drenched by the spray/rains from the Falls (yes even with ponchos on !) .. and so were all the other visitors we passed along the way .. but everyone was smiling ! At the end of the walk (approx. 4km round trip), Trevor was extremely patient as ‘the boss’ took herself off to the souvenir shops and spent an age (and Trevor’s tip !) on gifts for the grandchildren. He then took us back to our accommodation where we quickly ran in to get a tip for him.
A great tour .. and make sure you ask for Trevor !!

The experience of the falls was amazing, this review is about the tour itself. The tour and the description of the experience were not the same none of the aspects that we thought would be told were shared with us. Our guide did not have a great understanding of the facts / features of the falls and only told us what information was available on information signs. Furthermore the guide was so softly spoken we couldn’t hear her when she did speak. We didn’t stop at the trees either.

Thank you Chris for the feedback, it was office fault to try accommodate time changes requested by you due to late arrival. All senior guides had taken the normal slots into Falls with other customers and decided to upgrade your tour to private and get the only guide who was left at office ' trainee' hence we offered you a 70% percent refund. We could have opted to shift the tour to the next day after your request on delayed arrival from Airport. We always available and flexible to your opinions and suggestions. We were picked up at our hotel right on time by Trevor, the Ranger.
Then driven to the starting point of the lookouts track at Vic Falls.
Trevor has such wonderful knowledge of the area and was charming company. I would highly recommend him as a guide.

The water flow was low but still experienced the spray and the view.
Was fantastic to see how deep the gorge was and how far the water drops.

Brian/Bryan, the tour guide, was very accommodating. He never wants us to rush to enjoy the beauty of Victoria Falls, take photos, and simply gaze at its wonder. Very true and a real need to have a guide in the Falls ,a lot of information and points of interest may be omitted if one do the Falls by self . A guide is needed and comfortable transport to and from the lodge , ample time relaxed on shopping and sight seeing the famous Big tree.

There was a misunderstanding with the hotel pickup location, the driver was more than 1 hour late. The owner and the driver apologized for the mistake and we were upgraded into a private guided tour. The driver/ tour guide went above and beyond after the walking tour of the falls that took us to the rainforest to view the Cataracts, Livingstone’s statue, we saw variety of birds, baboons and plants; we were driven to the restaurant for lunch, to the town center for shopping and to the church for the Good Friday mass before dropping us back to our hotel. Great excursion. Trever, our driver and tour guide, was great. At the end of the Victoria Falls beautifully planned part, he arranged our lunch in the Lookout restaurant, and Zip line jump for our kids. Perfect day all around!

We were taken around Victoria Falls by a very informative guide .He was also aware of our safety as some of the paths were slippery. He sheltered us from the spray of water with an umbrella.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Walked us to all of he points and took pictures of us. I would suggest renting Sandals or crocs if you don’t have the proper foot gear ($3 is cheap). But we were guided out of the park after our tour and wished we would have had more time to spend inside. Keep in mind the fee you pay to get into the park does not allow reentry.

Although you could do this walking tour without a guide, we found that Trevor‘s knowledge of the history of the falls, and the various places where you can view them to be particularly interesting. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a bit more than just a self guided experience.
