A must experience! Learning about truffle hunting and how the dogs are trained was one of the most unique things we’ve experienced while in Italy. It definitely gives a new perspective when we are eating truffles. The husband and wife team, along with their dogs were warm, inviting and eager to ensure our group had a positive experience. Our tour guide was also wonderful! You can tell she loves her job by the enthusiasm she showed while answering our many questions. The combined wine tasting segment was also fantastic to learn about the specific wines of Monforte. The wine shop owner was informative and also eager for our group to enjoy ourselves!
