All Trieste Tours & Excursions in 2026

We had a wonderful day exploring Lake Bled and Ljubljana with Karmen during our port day in Trieste. Karmen was so friendly and knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information with us about the local area. She picked us up on time and stayed with us later than planned to maximize our time in Ljubljana. Our kids said it was their best day of our trip!

The Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle - Small Group Tour from Trieste was even better than we imagined! The Predjama Castle was absolutely incredible—built right against the wall, it’s a sight to behold. There were lots of stairs to climb, but we loved the architecture. The Postojna Cave was truly spectacular. Stephan, our driver, was so friendly and shared his knowledge of the region with our group.

It is a solid 8 to 8.5 hours in length depending on traffic. Tour included 90 minutes in Ljubljana on your own to shop and eat. Tour guide is very knowledgeable of Slovenia. Easy pick up spot in Trieste near cruise port with 10-15 minute walk from downtown hotel.

We loved our guide, who is originally from Slovenia, and the driver! Great information en route, and very kind to me with limited mobility due to knee injury. Be aware of fast paced walking in cave, often uphill. Bring a jacket for cave, but chill air was so welcome in contrast to outdoor heat wave! Recommend this combined tour, especially because of our Guide!

Erni was tremendous. He was articulate and familiar and very proud of Slovenia. He guided us to the most beautiful sites. We would highly recommend him to anyone for a great memorable experience in Slovenia. We will always remember the love in Slovenia. Tom and Celeste Lafferty.

My wife and I enjoyed listening to the guided tour about the history of the city of Trieste. Sonya was really informative as she showed us around the main areas even during the rainy day. She stayed on top of the subject matter as we asked her questions around Piazza Unità d'Italia and Cattedrale di San Giusto Martire. Unfortunately she forgot her umbrella somewhere during the tour and we happened to have an extra one for her. I definitely would recommend her if you want someone with deep knowledge of the city.

This was the most accommodating service I’ve ever used. I had to cut a vacation short due to an injury. I needed to get to the airport and I wanted to make sure I got there safely under the circumstances. I want t through you to set up the car service. My driver arrived and had to park a little outside of the area when he saw me he got with security so he was able to get closer. The entire ride he was checking on me, making sure it was OK and everything was good. We got to the airport and I needed assistance, but she was not allowed to go to the drop off point that the airline said to go to. we parked in an outside parking lot and he told me to wait in the car while he went inside. He came out and brought me someone to assist with the wheelchair. While that person pushed the chair, my driver carried my luggage into the airport. He did not leave my side until he assured that I was checked in and everything was good to go. Meanwhile, from the moment I booked the manager of the company, Damien, was in contact with me. He assisted every step of the way and followed up after everything was complete. I would recommend this company and the people involved in a heartbeat.

The Tour Operator met us on time, outside Cruise Terminal in Trieste. It was a two hour bus ride into Venice, where we transfered to a boat to take us to the Island, where St Mark Square is located. There we were divided into two groups ( about 20 in each group), given headsets, and we had a walking tour, which lasted about an hour. We then had about an hour and a half of free time. Both Guides did excellent, considering the number of people, especially Roberta, who was our guide on the Bus.
