What are people saying about Sapporo

A full experience and memorable evening
Shiori-san's generosity and friendliness was the highlight of our trip to Sapporo. The cooking is the solid base upon which a delightful experience is built- learning about Japanese family cooking, enjoying a delicious meal while sharing stories and experiences, and truly sharing Japanese hospitality with us are memories we won't forget. This is not lecture or classroom, it is a home you are being invited into to see a slice of someone's life and learn much more than just how to make food. This value is far beyond what we expected and we are extremely grateful to have met them!

Fulfilling Soba Experience
It's a very homey hands-on experience! Basically one-on-one which is the best. Taku-san was very knowledgeable about soba and it was fun to hear about soba culture vs udon culture. He's patient and encouraging in his guidance so it's easy to feel at ease under his tutelage! The soba itself was delicious (even more so since we made it ourselves) and a completely different experience compared to non-fresh soba noodles. You get to enjoy both cold soba and hot soba then you end off with Sobayu (the water in which soba was boiled in). We enjoyed the Ezo deer shabu shabu and the soba a lot, and would absolutely recommend this experience with Taku-san! :)

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Midori! She was thoughtful and attentive to types of foods we had yet to try. The experience far exceeded our expectations and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. Highly recommend booking this activity, you’ll be taken fo places you would never find on your own!

Very Nice Experience
Everything about this tour was relaxing and enjoyable. Despite pretty heavy snowfall, they continued with the tour safely and exactly on schedule. Were able to spend time exploring a little and choose where we want to eat. Tour guide was very good and informative. One of the best tours I’ve been on.

Trusted company
Very good service. Drivers are friendly, professional and extremely punctual. The pick up at the hotel is earlier than planned and the drivers waited for us patiently. I initially did not dare to book as there is not much reviews, but after using them, they are a trusted company. You can customise your itinerary with the company.

Authentic home-style Japanese Cooking Experience
Loved our cooking class with Kanae in her beautiful home surrounded by mountains and falling snow.
We were collected at the meeting point by Kanae and then driven first the local fish and food markets where we purchased our supplies for lunch. Surprisingly, a tranquil and quiet experience wandering through the market places. The fish markets back home where I come from are a bustling and stinky affair, but not here. Everything is beautifully presented , pristinely clean and calm.
Then onto lunch. Kanae will teach you how to cook whatever you like and I had requested a seafood dish which turned out to be a lip smacking, umumsi bomb of home style salmon, spinach, miso and dashi. Will be cooking this at home.
We loved our day!
Highly recommend this activity.
Thank you Kanae for a great day!!!!

Ryo (Leo) was an awesome guide and really customized the tour to what I was interested in! We saw so much of Sapporo, and it was great to get a sense of the city from his perspective, having lived here for many years. Even outside of the tour, Ryo provided some wonderful recommendations for the rest of my time in Sapporo and other cities I would be visiting in Japan. I was a solo traveler, and it felt like having one of my friends show me around his city!

Nice Outing!
This was a lovely experience. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to a spot near Jozankai Onsen. We biked into the village, stopping along the way to get a closer look at the Onsen and other points of interest. Then we visited an Onsen that had both an indoor and outdoor section. It was wonderful to sit outside in the warm water. Next was lunch, a delicious curry. Then back to the hotel. A really pleasant day.

Time well spent in Sapporo
Must do tour with a private guide. Kumiko, our guide, took us to a restaurant the locals enjoy and other sights. Finished at the Beer Museum 🍺. All the way around we had some great conversation and a few laughs as well. Highly recommend this tour and guide.

Fantastic experience.
Extremely fun and informative experience. It was so great to be able to make the noodles and then enjoy the food.
We took the subway from Odori station to the end of the Tozai Line, orange line, to the last stop Miyanosawa station. Exit number 7. Turn right and walk down a couple blocks, there is a huge Drug Store on the corner where you turn left, and it is the shops on the left right behind the drug store.

Great experience. Arrived...
Great experience. Arrived earlier at first spot than noted on schedule. Our guide didn’t speak great English but google translate worked well. Koichi was super pleasant.
Since we were a family of 5 adults, the private tour was only a bit more than travel group so we opted for private travel. Much more worth it.

Otaru adventure
This was a very fun tour, even for my teen kids. After the whiskey museum, we spent a few hours exploring Otaru, discovering different foods, glass products and small specialty shops. Masaru is a great driver and very accommodating. He even took us to a sake brewery after we told him how much we enjoyed Japanese sake. Overall a very enjoyable day.
