- Japan's climate has become more extreme, with summer highs of 40°C (110°F) and winter lows of -5°C (20°F). Please prepare accordingly for the tour.
- Out of respect for our other guests and to ensure the best tour for everyone, we must start the tour on time.
- You will not be able to join the tour, get a refund or reschedule if you are late for the tour and miss the group.
- This tour could possibly visit places where smoking is prohibited. please note that we may not be able to change the tour venues in this case.
- Because most Japanese restaurants are not fully ready for providing vegetarian menus, limited choices of vegetarian foods in our tour is available.

We booked the tour for our last night in Sapporo and what a great way to end our stay in the great city. We tasted different tasty dishes, including sashimi, zangi chicken, grilled lamb and ramen in lovely izakaya.
Our guide, Ayumi, was wonderful, providing interesting facts about Hokkaido and Sapporo and we had really good chat with her and the other participant of the tour.
All in all, a great tour and would recommend it to those who want to learn more about Hokkaido cuisine.

I had a great evening out with delicious food and drinks and Kay was a fantastic guide! The variety of izakayas we visited made for a varied evening with lots to eat. We all had such a good time that we carried on to several other bars after the tour until well after midnight! Sapporo is a very safe city and it’s no problem walking around late at night. Thanks to Kay for making a really memorable evening.

We had a great evening bar and food hopping with the Magical Tour. We were very lucky as we were the only ones and had a private tour with the lovely Midori. She asked us what food we liked and catered towards our wishes. The first place offered unlimited drinks and two small dishes each, then onto the gyoza bar, followed by a place that had the best oysters. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Midori, you were wonderful!

A fantastic tour of three izakayas in the center of Sapporo! The tour was a great way to experience some of the classic dishes from Hokkaido, and it gave us an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with some new dishes at the end of our trip to Japan.
And it was led by the charming and lively Kotomi! She was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable, and formidable eater and drinker who made sure we all had fun. 10/10 would do it again!

Very good food and drinks at 3 different izakayas. Did not realize Japan allows indoor smoking, so that was difficult with medical issues. We had an excellent time overall!

Had a great time with Kay, who not only took me to some great food stops, but also shared quite a bit about the local history and culture of Hokkaido, which gave me more perspective on some of the dishes. I definitely would have been too intimidated to try one of the local specialties, "Genghis Khan" by myself, so it was awesome to have Kay walk me through it, and it became a really memorable experience! I liked how flexible the tour can be based on what you're interested in. Really good value for the variety of foods and knowledgeable guide. Thanks again to Kay and the team!

This was the highlight of my trip to Sapporo! You get to experience Sapporo like a local and go to spots you could otherwise easily miss. Plus Aika was the best guide, I am lucky I got to have Aika show me Sapporo!!

Really fun and informative bar hopping tour with great great local ladies, Midori and a trainee named Koto. The venues were great, food was good and filling and the drinks were flowing. These gals could definitely hold their own. This was a fantastic introduction to the local bar scene

Had an amazing time on our tour with Kay. She was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed right away. The restaurants we visited provided a great selection of delicious food and each had their own distinct atmosphere. We particularly loved the last stop with dessert parfaits. Along with providing some history about this prefecture, she was very helpful with translating to English. K's command of both languages made it possible to enjoy the evening without confusion.
