Must do tour with a private guide. Kumiko,our guide, took us to a restaurant the locals enjoy and other sights. Finished at the Beer Museum 🍺. All the way around we had some great conversation and a few laughs as well. Highly recommend this tour and guide.

We had a wonderful tour of Sapporo with Roy A. We loved the Okurayama Ski Jump with a breathtaking view of Sapporo from above. At lunch at the Beer Museum restaurant we got to try Sapporo's famous Ganghis Khan dish, cooked at the table. It was truly memorable. Roy was always attentive to our needs and showed us many things that we would easily missed. At the end of the tour he delighted us by singing a couple songs. Thank you Roy for such a wonderful experience in Sapporo. We would highly recommend Roy to all visitors to Sapporo.

Thank you very much for your kind review. The view of Sapporo from the starting point of ski jump was so good. It's amaging the hight of the ski jump is similar to Sapporo TV Tower. It's not a sport for a faint hearted. I am glad you enjoyed Genghis khan lamb barbeque so much. It's not something people should try when they come to Hokkaido.

Roy Aoki, our guide, was exceptional. He met us early in our hotel and we sat down to discuss key spots we wanted to see in the allotted time. Despite the tour description, there is no way you could see everything in the allotted time.
Roy came up with plan which included taking the subway to key spots to save time and we made sure we ended the tour at a local restaurant not far from our hotel which featured authentic dishes from Hokkaido.
Roy was super knowledgeable about the history, culture, and key points of interest. He was so efficient in the tour execution that we added 3 more stops to our tour.

I knew cherry blossoms were your priority so we made it to the park first thing in the morning to make sure you have the best view possible. This was our 1st time to travel to Japan. Our tour guide Roy was very helpful & knowledgeable during our tour. He helped us learn how to use subway system that we were going to use the remainder of the week. He also helped us obtain & use IC card that made transportation much easier to navigate. We would definitely use this service again & recommend it to anyone taking a tour.

Nozomi san was a gracious host and showed us around her lovely Sapporo with such kind hospitality. We very much appreciated seeing the city from a local’s perspective, eating sushi at a restaurant that she recommended, and learning about the history of the city, which is apparently is quite young compared to the rest of Japan. I highly recommend this tour, and hope that you have the good fortune of having Nozomi san as your guide!

She guided us to the key sights in Sapporo and her suggestions on exploring the Olympic Park and navigating the underground passageway, visiting Ramen Alley and sweets shops, made our day memorable. We enjoyed strolling around the Botanical Garden. The various beautiful and unique plants thereat amazed us. The cool clear weather allowed us to take a leisurely stroll along the Odori Park and enjoy the fountain. We took pictures there and the Sapporo Clock Tower.
With the kind assistance of our English speaking Tour Guide: Mr. Tamaki Yakuwa, we were able to explore several tourist spots and shopping malls too. We had a very sumptuous and gastronomically satisfying lunch at the Aburiya restaurant (overlooking the Odori Park).

We enjoyed our time at Historical Village of Hokkaido and the fresh & delicious seafood at Nijo Market especially the crab.
We could feel the sport goes alive at Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium and finally we had a short fun at Shiroi Kobito Park

I had a nice introductory Sapporo tour with Hubert-san who met me promptly at my hotel to start the tour. He put together the itinerary for me based on the locations of interest I chose previously, translated as needed during the day and took plenty of photos with my phone. He also chose a nice Ramen shop for lunch since I wanted to try Hokkaido style Ramen. He also even assisted at the end of the tour with translating at the hotel for me so I could figure out the best way to get to New Chitose airport from the hotel. I really appreciated his help. If there was one place I could recommend it is the Shiroi Kobito park which has a factory tour and delicious chocolate cookies for sale afterwards.

Takeshi-san was super helpful and friendly. He was knowledgeable and flexible to what we wanted to see and do. We had a blast. Coming from Sapporo ate up most of our time since it took 2.5 hours in one direction.
And with a 6 hour tour, we ended up going almost 11 hours, including time looking for parking at places. Even so, the cost for additional time was reasonable and Taskeshi-san dropped us back off at our hotel safe and sound.
The Toyota Alphard was super comfy with reclining seats that falling alseep between destinations was easy. Would highly reccomend.

Mr. Hajime Okada led us on a personalized tour of Sapporo in English. (He is also fluent in Spanish having lived in Mexico for several years). He was very kind and gave us lots of information on what to do after the tour in Sapporo, Hakodate, and the rest of Hokkaido. We saw the Sapporo TV Tower, Sapporo Clock Tower, Odori Park, Sapporo Beer Museum, Shiroikoibito Park, and Central Wholesale Market. He was very helpful with navigating the Sapporo subway system to find our way around.
