What are people saying about Sapporo

lots of places to see
The guide Jay contacted me the day before on which bus stop on sapporo station to meet, communication was great. The tour was done in both mandarin and english. We had only 10 people in a small bus that could carry maybe 20, so we could disperse seating. The seat width and legroom is small but enough for me but if there are more people or you are bigger might be an issue. Bring cash. The stops could be longer at hell’s valley or Toya panoramic but that’s the reality of group tours. We ended up bailing out in Otaru because there was a lot to see there and caught a train back to Sapporo which was an option.

Magical experience
I had an amazing snowshoeing experience with Chris. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which made me feel completely safe throughout the trip. Everything was well organized, and the meeting instructions were very clear. Chris guided me through beautiful routes with truly magical and peaceful views. If you’re lucky, you might even see wildlife like deer, foxes, and birds, which made the experience even more special. Chris was also very respectful and thoughtful. Knowing that I’m Muslim, he made sure to provide snacks that didn’t contain pork or alcohol, which I really appreciated. When I wasn’t comfortable going to the onsen, he kindly offered an alternative plan and took me to a frozen lake near Sapporo instead. Walking on the frozen lake was something I had always wanted to experience, and seeing people camping there made it even more memorable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend

A ‘must-do’ excursion in Sapporo
I had a great evening out with delicious food and drinks and Kay was a fantastic guide! The variety of izakayas we visited made for a varied evening with lots to eat. We all had such a good time that we carried on to several other bars after the tour until well after midnight! Sapporo is a very safe city and it’s no problem walking around late at night. Thanks to Kay for making a really memorable evening.

Well worth it soba class
Awesome experience! Taku taught us about the culture of soba in Hokkaido and the region north of Tokyo. About the golden ratio between Hokkaido Buckwheat flour, Hokkaido flour to water mix. How to mix it properly, shape and roll it properly and the technique of consistent cutting. And then eating the sobe was a whole other experience in itself. We're very glad that we decided to book this class and highly recommend it.
