Overview

For all the Game of Thrones fans, this tour is perfect for you, as it takes you to the place where Dragonstone was filmed in season seven. Actually, there were two places where it was filmed, and you’ll visit both today. Visit Itzurun Beach in Zumaia, an amazing coastline, then Mundaka Beach to wander around the surfing village, and finally visit San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and hear stories of pirates and witches.

Note that there’s a challenging set of stairs to climb at San Juan de Gaztelugatxe
Marvel at the limestone formations that were made by 1000s of years of erosion

Lovely day on the coast and in the hills!

The day was lovely. Great to get out of the city and see the country side. Andoni was a courteous and informative guide who provided a day that we were interested in. The scenery is lovely, lush green hills and wine areas with rugged coastlines. A great tour!

Jaimie was an excellent guide with excellent knowledge. He knows so much about the history of the Basque region. Being a game of thrones fan we loved the locations and took heaps of photos imagining that we were there when Jim Snow and Danearys were shooting the TV series. This tour was, by far, my favorite part of my visit to Spain this year! It is far more than a nod to GOT.
