We had a wonderful private tour of Souq Waqif with Javid, and it was the perfect introduction to Doha. The experience was seamless from start to finish, beginning with prompt pickup from our hotel and a warm welcome that immediately set the tone for the afternoon. The highlight, of course, was exploring Souq Waqif itself. Javid brought the market to life with his deep knowledge of Qatari culture, history, and daily life. Rather than just walking us through the main corridors, he took the time to explain the significance of the architecture, the spices, the falcon shops, the textiles, and the subtle details you might otherwise miss. His pacing was perfect — unhurried but efficient — giving us time to browse, take photos, and soak in the atmosphere. We especially appreciated the stop at the Souq Waqif Art Center. Javid pointed out elements of Islamic Qatari architecture and explained how the space supports local artists. It added an extra cultural layer to the visit that we wouldn’t have understood on our own. He was quick to point out great photo places and take the photos for us. What truly made the tour stand out was Javid himself. He was personable, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing Doha with visitors. What a fantastic experience! I booked a dinner cruise around Doha Harbour through Viator and it exceeded expectations. Cruising past the stunning Doha skyline at night, with the water shimmering and a beautiful crescent moon above, made it incredibly special. The skipper was professional, friendly and very attentive, making everyone feel welcome and relaxed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was brilliant, and it was excellent value for money. And managed to get some amazing photos along the way. Highly recommended — a perfect way to experience Doha from the water.

Shafi was absolutely amazing and made this experience unforgettable. From the moment he picked me up at the airport, his communication was clear, friendly, and on point. I felt taken care of the entire time. His dune bashing skills were next level. Smooth when it needed to be and thrilling when it counted. You can tell he really knows the desert and drives with confidence. Easily one of the most fun parts of the whole trip. He made sure I didn’t miss anything. ATV riding, camel ride, falcon photos, sandboarding everything flowed perfectly and never felt rushed. He even helped with photos and made sure I got great shots. What really stood out was how personal he made the experience. It didn’t feel like a generic tour at all. It felt tailored just for me, full of energy, laughs, and good vibes the whole time. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The night desert safari in Doha was absolutely magical – from the peaceful camel ride under the stars to the adrenaline-filled dune bashing, every moment was unforgettable. Our guide, Nomii, was the highlight of the trip. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe and entertained the entire time. He shared fascinating insights about the desert and Qatari culture, and his passion for his work really shone through. The night sky was breathtaking, and the cool desert breeze made it even more special. We even had a chance to stop and take amazing photos at sunset and later under the stars – Nomii knew all the perfect spots. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Doha. True gem of a city!

We did a night time tour leading up to our overnight layover and discovered what a true gem Doha is! Our guide Mehmood was very pleasant and we were able to hit all the highlights within a few hours. The history and culture of the area are super interesting and the city is extremely safe. If you are considering this tour, don’t hesitate!!!

Fun adventure in the desert with Fahad

We just spent a fun morning exploring and learning about the desert with Fahad. He picked us up at our hotel on time and then we had a nice conversation about various facets of Qatari life as we drove out to the desert. Our first stop was a short camel ride and then we got to hold a falcon. LOTS of pictures! Then the real fun began as Fahad took us dune bashing (SOO FUN!) for about 45 minutes. We drove up and down dunes on our way to the inland sea. We took a couple stops for pictures and sand sledding. Lastly we drove a Razor ourselves (following a guide) around the desert for about 30 minutes. Also super fun and a stop with lots of pictures. (My helmet strap was broken….they need to upgrade this important piece of safety equipment). Then we headed back to Doha. Fahad always had the car nice and cool for us with plenty of water. I would highly recommend this adventure and Fahad!
