We had a 19 hour layover in Doha. Looked his tour and I told Guide Mehmood was amazing. First off he picked us up from our hotel and was right on time. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and knew the history of Qatar. Took us around the city and showed us all the major highlights that should have been seen within our times, man. Pointed out a lot of buildings answered all of our questions and was extremely patient and friendly. He even went the extra mile to buy us Arabic tea for us to try, which was amazing. He took so much beautiful pictures of us. He took us to a mask where we had 20 minutes to enjoy. Definitely had a good time and if you booked this tour and if you’re lucky enough to get Mehmood you will not be disappointed. You definitely will have a great time and it’s definitely worth the money. Great job 10 out of 10 stars all the way. If you have a long layover in Doha, make sure you book this tour and if you’re able to request Mehmoo, make sure you do you will not be disappointed.

Totally enjoyed our tour. Excellent service. Only booked at 9:00pm for 9:00am next day. Camron our guide was lovely, spoke excellent English and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.

We did a night time tour leading up to our overnight layover and discovered what a true gem Doha is! Our guide Mehmood was very pleasant and we were able to hit all the highlights within a few hours. The history and culture of the area are super interesting and the city is extremely safe. If you are considering this tour, don’t hesitate!!!

Good Tour to Kill Time on Doha Layover

Good layover tour if you have some time to kill in Doha and want to visit the city. Abood picked us up and drove us around. You can request to see something specific or make a stop at a coffee shop or get a bite to eat. Or you can just spend time at the souq. Overall, pick up at airport could have been a little smoother but tour went ok.

We arrived at Qatar as a layover for eight hours and had some time to kill. After taking a bit of rest at a local hotel. We wanted to explore Qatar since it was the first time my partner and I were there. We literally booked this experience in the middle of the night and it was last minute. The tour operator returned our call within 5mins and dispatched a tour guide to us. We were so impressed with the speed and efficiency! Our tour guides name was Shaji. He shows us all of Doha in under 3hours and promptly returned us to our hotel right before our next flight. We saw many of the hotspots and didn’t feel rushed. Shaji was very kind and courteous. He showed us so much of his home and culture and we even exchanged gifts. I made a friend on this adventure. I have learned so much on this brief but informative experience about the culture, geography and architecture. Thank you so much Shaji! We had such a wonderful experience. We will be back again in the winter sometime! God bless!
