Zafar was great and accommodating to my flight status and extremely long customs/immigration line. Picked me up right outside the airport and we did a private tour based upon my long layover. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Doha for a safari excursion. I got to ride a camel, hold a falcon, and went duning in the desert.

He made us feel welcome and safe, and his knowledge of the desert was truly impressive. He drove through the dunes with such skill and confidence—it was both thrilling and smooth, and we always felt in good hands. He took us to some absolutely breathtaking spots and shared wonderful tips and stories along the way that gave us a deeper appreciation for the landscape and the culture. What stood out the most was his kindness and the genuine care he showed for our comfort and experience. He went above and beyond in every way, and we are so grateful to have had him as our guide. We only had a day stopover in Doha and decided to book the desert trip. We were not disappointed; from the time we were collect by our host Jassim until we arrived back at our hotel we had an incredible experience. The activities were top class and the experience unforgettable. Our host Jassim was attentive and so welcoming. We felt comfortable with him from the moment we meet him. We will be back for a longer visit. We highly recommend booking this experience.

Shafi was absolutely amazing and made this experience unforgettable. From the moment he picked me up at the airport, his communication was clear, friendly, and on point. I felt taken care of the entire time. His dune bashing skills were next level. Smooth when it needed to be and thrilling when it counted. You can tell he really knows the desert and drives with confidence. Easily one of the most fun parts of the whole trip. He made sure I didn’t miss anything. ATV riding, camel ride, falcon photos, sandboarding everything flowed perfectly and never felt rushed. He even helped with photos and made sure I got great shots. What really stood out was how personal he made the experience. It didn’t feel like a generic tour at all. It felt tailored just for me, full of energy, laughs, and good vibes the whole time. If you’re booking this tour, ask for Shafi. He’s the reason this was such an incredible experience and I’d 100% do it again with him.

The places visited and the activities included in the tour were enjoyable — a good mix of must-do experiences: dunes, the inland sea, camel ride, falcon picture, and quad biking. However, there was no sandboarding, although it was mentioned in the program. It’s clearly a very touristy experience, but that’s exactly what we were there for. The major downside was the driver. He spent the entire outbound trip talking on his earpiece, showing no concern for his clients. Once we reached the dunes, things became unsafe — he kept typing WhatsApp messages and sending voice notes while driving, which made his driving erratic and risky. He only stopped after more than an hour, when we suggested pulling over so he could finish. The return journey was no better — again, he was on the phone the whole time. Several other agencies offer the same tour. I strongly recommend choosing one of them instead.

We booked the tour with falcon experience and camel riding. Already at the very first stop, it was all about upselling us another activity (quad biking). We found it quite unpleasant that the focus was immediately on getting us to spend more money before the actual tour had even started. Since we didn’t want to pay extra, we moved on to a rather chaotic gathering spot. The falcon experience lasted about a minute – just holding the bird for a quick photo, and that was it. The camel ride was the same story: less than five minutes, one short loop, very rushed, just like a conveyor belt experience. The drive through the dunes, however, was beautiful – the landscape was absolutely stunning. At the sandboarding stop, there were only two boards for about twelve people, so everyone had to queue and wait. Then the vehicle that had brought the boards left, and we were left standing there without any equipment. Why not at least provide one board per car? Overall, the price-performance ratio is not right.

Obviously you can't control the wind. So no biggie there. BuT to be stuck in a car with horrific body odor for an hour is not acceptable. It made experience very not pleasant. Also not much direction. We were just put places. No explanation ls. We did sunset tour. Don't need to hear from driver that he is tired. So overall seeing desert was neat but those aspects ruined it.

We had an unforgettable desert safari experience, and it’s all thanks to our incredible tour operator and guide - Jassim. While other tour operators closed around 2 or 3pm, he was flexible and helped us get this tour organized during our short layover. From start to finish, everything was well-organized, and he went above and beyond to make sure we made the most of our short trip. The adventure included thrilling drive across the sand dunes, sand sliding, and a camel ride – each activity was memorable and perfectly paced for us and our 4 year old boy. Jassim was not only knowledgeable but also kind and attentive, ensuring we were comfortable and having fun throughout.
