This is a lovely way to spend a half day getting out of Doha city and seeing the amazing desert and inland sea. Our guide Iqtidar was great - he turned up on time, has a very comfortable clean Landcruiser and drove us very safely to the sand dune area. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions en route and made sure we were comfortable and happy the whole time.
Once at the dunes he drove us around in the most thrilling way - we hadn’t really known what to expect but the dune bashing is an amazing fun experience. We watched the sun go down and visited the seashore - all very beautiful. Iqtidar took some great photos for us and drove us safely home. Highly recommended- you shouldn’t miss this excursion when in Doha.

Fantastic afternoon with Sajid on a four hour private tour. ATVs, camel ride, awesome drive through the dunes to the inland sea. Highly recommend a trip if you are in Doha. Highlight of our stay.

Iqtidar our driver and guide was excellent. Collected from hotel on time. Camel ride, held falcon, inland sea and beach. Excellent dune bashing and Iqtidar made it fun. Really enjoyable half day trip. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing experience! Our driver/guide, Iqtidar, only made the tour 100 times better!!! After arriving a few minutes early and contacting us to let us know he was there, but we should take our time, he greeted us outside the car with a smile and a friendly handshake. He told us all about the things we were passing on the way to the dunes and explained a lot about the country. He was very personable and engaged in conversation throughout the tour. He explained each step and helped us as needed. First was the camel ride, which was short, but fun and we got lots of photos (hold on tight!), next was the falcon (small extra cost, but worth it for the photo op), then off we went onto the dunes. Iqtidar was very experienced and we felt safe, even during a few scary, yet fun, moves. We made several stops for photos and were offered the option to sand surf. Next we stopped at the beach, which was very pretty. From there we could see Saudi Arabia in the distance and just over the horizon was Dubai and the UAE. Lastly, Iqtidar took us to the top of a high dune where we watched the sunset and got great pictures. Make sure you get the pic where it looks like you’re holding the sun in your hands! We had a nice drive back and Iqtidar dropped us off at the front door of our hotel, where he had picked us up almost 4 hours before. We would recommend this tour and especially if you can request Iqtidar as your driver/guide. Thanks, Iqtidar, for a fantastic adventure!!!!

Solo female traveller, felt completely safe and taken care of. My guide was a fab photographer. Got to see and do lots of different things; camels, falcons, dune bashing, sand boarding, visiting the inland sea and lots of stops to take pictures and view sunset

Our guide was excellent. A really nice guy. The dune bashing was quite the thing and a lot more fun than I expected. Our driver has clearly done it before. 😂 Tho he drives better in the sand than on the road! I don't understand why all tour drivers text on their phone while driving clients.
The camel ride was just a sad tourist trap. Hop on a camel, ride across the parking lot and back and take free pictures. 🙈 20 riyal for a picture with the falcon. My wife didn't even want to go on the ride out of concern for the poor camels.
But that was mostly forgiven after we saw the dunes, sand boarded and watched the sunset.
I would recommend the trip and our driver tho there is no guarantee you will get the same driver because there are over 100 SUVs doing the same trip.

It was a great trip. The guide's driving skills could not be faulted and the dune bashing was thrilling but we found the driver difficult to understand sometimes and he didn't willingly give guidance.

Wir sind leider nicht zur extra von uns gebuchten! Inland Sea gefahren. Das war schade!
Aber unser Guide war Spitze. Er hat uns souverän durch die Wüste gefahren und uns den Nachmittag zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht!
Iqtidar Hussain kann man sehr weiter empfehlen. Er hat sich in allen Fragen sehr um uns bemüht und war auch persönlich und freundlich.

Tour privado, que te permite bastante libertad. En unas cuantas horas te haces una idea de como es el desierto y te lo pasas en grande en los buggys (precio a parte).
Realmente no visitamos el mar interior, en teorías pq es mañana época, nos quedamos bastante antes, pero la playa es preciosa.
Una experiencia genial con Saleh, con una conducción perfecta.
