Crusie
First like give a proper New Orleans hello, Waaaaa . This was the best tour!!! Carlos is the best and kindest and the best tour guide in the DR. He showed us the best time and sites. He is well known, lowkey a celebrity, on the island. He showed us the the coolest sites and have real history to share. I recommend Perez tours and most importantly Carlos. He made the DR for me 😊

Look No Further! This Guided Tour is the Best!
Our tour guide Fermin was awesome. His knowledge was extensive about Puerta Plata and made our experience really enjoyable and worthwhile. He took us to several known tourists spots, but also shared other sights that most tourists don’t get to see. He made it known we could stop anywhere we wanted and that he was there for us. Don’t pass on this tour, it was one of the best we have had on Viator and in traveling. He was punctual, the car was clean, he was friendly and we learned a lot about the area.

Edgar Entertainment
Edgar was amazing!! His tour was outstanding. He took us to see the wonderful parts of Puerta Plata which included a visit to a fort, rum distillery and walked us through the streets to see other sights. He allowed the time and space to enjoy these sights. I would highly recommend booking this!! Our day ended with a nice lunch at a restaurant and a gift from Edgar. This was my FAVORITE excursion.

This boat day was SO much...
This boat day was SO much fun. There are a lot of people on the boat, so expect a very social, lively environment. You’ll likely be sharing tables and space with others, and there aren’t really quiet or private areas. That said, if you’re open to it, it really adds to the experience. The crew completely made the trip. They were hilarious, engaging, and did an amazing job getting everyone involved—dancing, laughing, and just having a great time. Huge shoutout to Benjamin and Mawii (the photographer), who were especially fun and added a lot to the vibe. The day starts with two snorkeling stops. You can fully snorkel with equipment, just swim, or even stay on the boat if that’s more your speed. My friends and I chose to just get in the water and swim, which was perfect. Life jackets are provided and required in the water, but not while you’re on the boat. After snorkeling, the open bar kicks in and you cruise while eating and drinking. The food was buffet-style, with plenty of options and generous portions—you can go back for as much as you want. A couple practical tips: • There are bathrooms on board • Definitely bring sunscreen and a towel • Take motion sickness medication beforehand—this is a big one Even if you’re comfortable on boats, the waves can be intense. I grew up on the water on a boat every weekend in Florida and still took Bonine beforehand, and I’m really glad I did. I felt completely fine, but probably a third of the boat got seasick. The crew does their best to help (cold washcloths, crackers, water, buckets, etc.), but it’s much better to prevent it. Bonine is great because it doesn’t have noticeable side effects, so it’s 100% worth taking as a just in case. Overall, I would definitely recommend this experience. It’s high-energy, social, and just a really fun way to spend a day on the water.
