Among the 5 tours I offer, I take you today to Arles and its surroundings. We will first go to a breathtaking viewpoint on Les Baux de Provence, a medieval village built on a rocky promontory. You will then see the fabulous image show of the Quarries of Lights, former place of limestone extraction. You will come out with stars full of eyes! Afterwards, we will stop at Moulin Castelas to visit the mill and taste several olive oils, before picnicking under the fig trees, excellent fresh produce from local farms. We will then stroll through the city of Arles, where you will discover its Roman, medieval and contemporary history. Finally, you will have free time in St Rémy de Provence, to stroll through its alleys, on the terrace of coffee or in its souvenir shops.

The tour will start in Nimes with a quick stop in front of the Maison Carrée, an ancient Roman temple, before taking an audio-guided tour of the Nîmes Arena. NB: from November to March, only a walk in the old town of Nîmes will be made, to see the main monuments. We will then stop at the Pont du Gard, for a picnic of local produce from local farms (from April to October only), then to stroll around the Pont du Gard for great views of this monument. Finally, we will head to Orange for a stop at the Arc de Triomphe and an audio-guided tour of the majestic Ancient Theatre. NB: from November to March, the tour will be done in reverse.

Finally, we will finish the day with a refreshing touch with the turquoise waters of Lake Sainte Croix and the Verdon Canyon, one of the largest canyon in Europe. You can take a short swim or take an electric boat ride in the heart of the canyon if you wish.
