This trip saved our vacation . We hit a heatwave and were unable to do much outside. Even on the hottest day, the trip was completely comfortable. Just enough of time outside not to get overheated and back to the air conditioned van to cool down. Learned about lavender, tasted different olive oils. Took a ton of amazing pictures. Highly recommend!

Wonderful trip through the lavender fields and sunflower fields. Olive oil tasting was delicious. The shop has so many fabulous items to choose from and the ice cream was delicious. Our guide was amazing.

Anthony was the BEST guide. Very knowledgeable of the lavender fields and crop process. The fields were an awesome experience and everything we thought they would be. Anthony was also extremely knowledgeable of the other areas we visited - the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie was like a fairy tale. We had free time to explore on foot and have a nice lunch. Then on to visit to the sunflower fields, an unexpected plus. Then the final destination of Sainte Croix du Verdon, it was one of the most beautiful lakes we’ve ever visited. There was time to swim (if you chose to do so), we opted for a glass of wine at one of the onshore establishments and enjoyed taking in the magnificent view. Recommend you book the full day trip to fully experience everything this area has to offer. A lot of ground covered in one day, but we never felt rushed. This was a 10 out of 10 event. Thank you Anthony for such a memorable excursion! We plan to come back this way on a future vacation and hope to book with you again!

Our driver had extraordinary navigation skills on narrow winding roads .The Lavender fields he showed us were beautiful… we visited Sault & Gordes . Beautiful! And found a perfect place to stop for a picture book photo of Gordes….. wonderful memories.❤️

Really enjoyed our lavender tour with Anthony. Even though much of the lavender was harvested earlier than usual due to the heatwave, he found us a beautiful field and took us to a sunflower field as well. Also enjoyed a visit to a family run lavender business, which gave us a tour and tasting of olive oils and information about the different types of lavender and their uses. A fun and worthwhile lavender tour.

A must-see tour of the lavendar fields

Emmanuelle our guide was very informative, gave us ample town to take photos in the beautiful lavender fields. The visit to the beautiful hilltop village of Moustier St. Marie was a great place to stop for lunch and enjoy a walk around on your own. Our next stop in St Croix lake would have been perfect if the tour details said to pack a swimsuit and beach towel, because it was hot that day and the season for it. A quick dip in the beautiful crystal blue lake would have been refreshing . I would highly recommend this tour (and pack that swimsuit !)

Had a great day with our guide Gordon, who worked very hard to get us visually stunning experiences of lavender and sunflower fields, along with the ability to observe harvesting in action. The impossibly beautiful town of Moustiers Sainte Marie was a real highlight. Note: as of 7 July there was still plenty of lavender to see.

Our tour guide Rebecca was great. Started the tour on time, allowed for breaks and plenty of free time to explore. As it was very hot, the A/C van was a life saver. Tour guide was knowledgeable and took good care of the group needs.

We had a fantastic experience taking in the lavender fields, small villages, and spectacular landscapes surrounding Aix-en- Provence. Our guide, Remy, was welcoming, organised, knowledgeable, kind and engaging! He created the perfect atmosphere for our small group and maintained just the right pacing for the day. We never felt rushed and felt we had lots of opportunity to explore at our own pace. Highly recommend this tour, Remy as a guide, and the tour company. Such a fun and varied day!

The lavandin fields were just amazing, like being in a painting. So real and impressive. Moustiers Sainte-Marie was another highlight of our trip, such a beautiful and unique little town. Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon And the bridge between the man made lake worth to visit anytime.

Our guide, Lucy, was excellent--so knowledgeable about ANYTHING we had questions about, and so friendly and interesting. She took us up into the mountains north of Aix-en-Provence to some amazing spots, both fantastic lavender fields and also several little picturesque towns. It was an experience of a lifetime, a truly memorable day.

We had an excellent trip. Although at the fag end of the season still we could find enough lavender fields yet to be harvested and our Guide Signor Donato was very good to provide us enough information about the history geography and cultural perspectives of the region. In a nutshell recommended but one should check the season before which starts from June to August.

Corine, Coco, was an absolutely brilliant Tour Guide! We spent the entire day hunting for Lavender Fields around the Luberon Valley and even went to a Local Producer at the end :)! Absolutely 'brillante' and can not recommend enough! Perfect blend of fun, new facts and stories along the way, and some pretty cool gems of tiny towns/cities along the way! All in all, would recommend to anyone coming to Provence and Corine was the best, a true inspiration for Tour Guides anywhere, perfect blend of fun, caring and kind! 5 Stars!

Lavender tour full day

Lovely lavender! However this tour had lots of driving and we had to back track to find a lavender field that we had already passed. 15 min each way! Knowing that the lavender was being harvested stop when you see a beautiful field. Always a bonus to see others. The farmer stop was extremely disappointing. Basically take a look at the old equipment and listen to an audio about it then come buy some products. This stop was not necessary and would have allowed more time in the city we visited. Didn’t need as much time at the lake but it was beautiful to see from various vantage points. Our guide, Remy, was nice but was quiet compared to our other guides. The speaker in this vehicle was much better than either of our other tours. Likely the half day lavender tour would have been better in hindsight. Thanks.

I understand your frustration to do not see so many lavender fields as you wanted, however it is difficult to find lavender fields when the harvest has started, it is important for the guide as for us that our clients have a good day and that they enjoy the Provencal landscape of lavender like that of the lake. Exactly as advertised!

This was nice intimate experience with a total of eight people. Our guide took us to three different fields where we were the only people; she knew great spots, providing an opportunity for amazing photos! We stopped for two free hours at Moustiers de Saint Michel (a mountain top village) where we at lunch on our own. We then visited a beautiful lake and went for a (somewhat chilly) swim for an hour, and then returned to town just before 6pm.

An amazing tour with an amazing guide

Coco was such an enthusiastic tour guide who genuinely wanted to share with us the beauty of Provence, especially during the lavender season. She was very engaged and informative the whole time, and was very accommodating with stops as we spotted different photo opportunities along the drive. She went out of the way to help book tables for those on the tour who wanted a sit down lunch at Moustier St Marie, as the busy season meant potentially long wait time at restaurants and cafes. The itinerary was great - we saw lots of lavender fields in full bloom, a picturesque village, and swam in Gorges de Verdun. On the way back Coco also gave us recommendations of restaurants and places to check out in Aix which all turned out to be excellent options. She was so warm and the tour was a great start to my trip in Provence. I loved it so much that I added a Luneron hilltop village tour next day

Seeing Lavender Fields in Provence. The guide was relatively inexperienced but engaging and enthusiastic but not old enough to have the requisite driving experience for handling people carrriers. Irrresponsible on part of tour operator.

Wonderful way to see the lavender fields - lots of opportunity to take photos and hear about the history of the town and surrounding areas. Beautiful scenery! The small tasting at the end was also a lovely addition and we loved the different oils. I would recommend making sure you take yourself some water especially if doing this in the summer heat. Would definitely recommend this tour - thank you!

An incredible Provençal experience!

Seeing the lavender fields was my #1 thing to do on our trip to France and this tour absolutely exceeded my expectations! Our guide Damien was welcoming and passionate, and a lot of fun! It was a long day and it was incredibly hot, so we were happy but exhausted at the end! The fields were absolutely stunning to see in person, and the stop at the producer’s farm/shop was so lovely. Tasting food from their lavender fields, plus their almond and olive trees, was truly special. Lots of goodies to buy to take home (plus ice cream, syrups and wine to devour right there!) Exploring the Village of Moustieres-Sainte-Marie was magical, like something out of a fairy tale. And wrapping up with incredible views of Lac Sainte Croix from up in the hills, and then getting to take a dip in the lake was perfect. (There are change rooms but wading in like we did was lovely too.) Overall, we never felt rushed despite a jam-packed itinerary. Damien took great care of us and was so joyful all day long! I highly recommend this tour (just plan yourself a less busy day the day after!)
