Great trip on and sailing around Capri! Awesome scenery from the top of Anacapri to the shoreline cliffs of the entire island! Our 2 wonderful guides, Alessia and Francesca were so helpful, interesting and professional! Captain Francesco was a well seasoned skipper and provided us with safe and prompt sea transportation. He made sure we were all given the opportunity to enter the Blue Gotto expediently, (a tourist trap, but a sight to see!) It is usually a very long wait. We both highly recommend this tour! This was an amazing trip! There was plenty of water and soft drinks, and we celebrated the day with a toast of Prosecco! Captain Francesco is an able captain, a good guide, and we enjoyed him immensely. The boat was large, with plenty of room for us and the ten other guests. We really enjoyed getting to know everyone. We had two nice opportunities to swim and enjoy the water. If you’re expecting to see fish, like one might see in Caribbean, you will be disappointed. The water was cool and clear! Just being on the water and seeing the sites was a thrill, and Capri was fun too. We had booked another Capri tour for the same day, but that charter operator contacted us one day prior and wanted to change our tour date! We weren’t comfortable with this change, got a refund, and rebooked this tour with Cassiopea Boat Excursions. NOTE: There are different tour companies and some are better than others. We’re actually glad the other operator cancelled because this trip turned out to be great fun. Only one complaint: the onboard toilet had no seat, which inconvenienced the ladies on board. The boat was super nice and stocked with lots of snacks and drinks. It was a great five star experience. The captain was great. He explained all the things we were seeing at our various sites throughout the day. He also offered advice on what to see and do at the port stops. Worth the price we paid for a private boat day.
