If you’ve chosen to depart from Positano, make your own way to the beach and greet your personal skipper. Alternatively, receive departure details for Praiano or Amalfi after confirmation.
Climb aboard your boat, reserved exclusively for you and your party, and receive a bottle of mineral water once you’ve settled into a comfortable seat.
Sit back as your skipper steers the boat along the enchanting Amalfi Coast, deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its outstanding natural beauty. Gaze at jagged limestone cliffs and white sand beaches before arriving at the Emerald Grotto (Grotta dello Smeraldo), which you can enter for an additional fee. Glide through dim caverns and marvel at the emerald-green hue created by sunlight filtering through crevices.
Then, stop in the town of Amalfi to enjoy its winding streets and a plethora of seafood restaurants. See, too, Duomo Ravello, an 11th-century cathedral perched on a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Fabio was amazing! Such a fun day seeing the coast and getting the stories of all the places we past. A nice stop in Amalfi and lunch right on the beach were incredible. Couldn’t recommend enough. Worth every penny!
My family had a fantastic experience. Our captain, Saulo, was extremely kind to my daughters and I. He took his time and showed us around, found some great places to swim and really made sure we have the very best time we could.
My wife and I had the best day of our honeymoon on the private boat with Vincenzo. Secluded swimming in caves, fruit and snacks on the boat with a glass of champagne, and the perfect amount of interaction to learn more about Vincenzo while enjoying our full day on the boat! 10/10 cannot recommend this and Vincenzo highly enough.
Our Capt. Gianfranco was excellent and made our day very special for the entire family. Experiencing the amalfi coast from the water is a must. Capt. Gianfranco’s love for the Amalfi Coast was evident through out our day and it will be a day our family will treasure. Thank-you Capt. Franco
Amazing day touring the Amalfi Coast with Gianfranco. He was so kind, accommodating and knowledgeable and made our day so relaxed and so much fun. The highlight of our vacation for sure!! From seeing the coast, to swimming in the beautiful sea, to lunch on the beach, exploring caves and seeing different towns, the day could not have been better.
Perfect day! Celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday on the boat. Had our favorite day in Europe in our two week trip. From the views, to the snorkeling and swimming to the lovely lunch we enjoyed it all. Just a relaxing and wonderful way to spend a day on the Amalfi Coast!
This tour gives you a glimpse of several towns along the Amalfi Coast. Our guide was very polite and professional. He showed us his favorite spots along the Coast and took photos of us at each of these locations. He gave us a lot of time to swim and enjoy the water. They provide towels, goggles, and floaties if needed. We had drinks and snacks throughout the da,y celebrating our honeymoon. We spent about an hour walking around the town of Amalfi and also had lunch at one of the beach clubs in the surrounding area, for which the guide booked the reservation for us. We would certainly do this experience again.
We spent 2 weeks on the Dalmatian and Amalfi coasts and numerous boat days…this was my family’s favorite experience. The views, the swimming, everything. Fabio was awesome as a guide! The one thing I will caution you on is that the boat in a lot of the travelers photos is bigger than the one we were on. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it was definitely smaller.
Pasquale was a great guide/boat driver and all around great guy. We had a wonderful time seeing the Amalfi Coast from the sea.

He made everything feel easy and natural, felt like we were just hanging out with a friend who knew all the best spots. You can tell he really cares and goes the extra mile to make it special. What an incredible experience! Fabio was our captain and did a fantastic job of showing us his beautiful home and letting us swim and snorkel as we wished. The amenities on this beautiful boat were superb and all we had to bring were clothes for the day. I highly recommend this experience and Fabio as a captain. My kids loved every minute!

We had the best day on the Amalfi Coast with Captain John Franco from Bluestar! From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel so welcome with his warm and friendly personality. He shared so much history and local insight about the coastline, which made the tour even more special. From the moment we arrived at our chosen marina, our captain Fabio was already there waiting for us. His calm confidence and welcoming smile immediately set the tone for the day. We were welcomed like old friends, and every step of the experience unfolded with thoughtfulness and precision.
Fabio intuitively understood our preferences and adjusted the day to suit us perfectly. Whether it was changing course to avoid crowded swim spots or circling back later for a better experience, his sense of timing and attentiveness was flawless. Nothing felt rushed, and everything felt personal.
The boat itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, stocked with fresh towels, floaties, and swimming goggles. There was ample shade to relax under and just the right space for tanning if you wanted it. Even the simple convenience of having space to change clothes onboard showed how every detail had been considered in advance.
Fabio served us fresh Amalfi melon, chilled prosecco, beer, and snacks throughout the day. Each offering was made with care and style, enhancing the effortless luxury of the experience. He even arranged a lunch stop at a coastal restaurant that was an absolute highlight. It all felt natural, unforced, and curated with quiet excellence.
This day on the water was not just a tour—it was a masterclass in how to make guests feel important, relaxed, and completely taken care of. Our Amalfi trip was already beautiful, but this made it truly exceptional.

Awesome last day in the Amalfi Coast spent on the sea!
Had a great skipper Ivan who was super friendly and respected our privacy. Showed great skills showing us some grotto, but also navigated the waves with great talent. Never needed to tell him where to go as whenever we were pointing smth when discussing with my partner he just went there as he read our minds constantly. Brought us to an awesome restaurant accessible only by boat where we had a great lunch break. He adapted to our requests whenever we wanted to chill or swim.
When tipping, we didn’t have cash and he gladly showed us to the ATM and helped us change the big note.
We will come back and ask for Ivan again next time!
Only had 2 days on the Amalfi so we decided to rent the boat with the other couple that we were traveling with. Best decision we made! We were met by our amazing boat Captain, Gabrielle. He got us settled in on the boat and gave us a tour down the coastline, providing us with interesting facts and showing us the absolute beauty of the coastline and the unbelievably blue water. We anchored in the water and went swimming and drank some Peroni and wine before continuing with the tour. We stopped for lunch at a seaside restaurant and then continued the ride. Stopped to swim again, more drinks. Sat up on the front of the boat and just relaxed in the sun. Can't stress how great Gabrielle was. Would definitely do this again!
10/10. Cannot recommend this activity enough. It was the best way to see the Amalfi coast. We had a great day. Never wanted it to end. Got to swim in some caves and stop in Amalfi. Then lunch at a restaurant where we stopped by boat. Great tour guides. Blue Star Positano is the best!
This was beyond our expectations. Blue Star was absolutely amazing to work with. The boat was fabulous the snacks, the drinks, and most of all the knowledge of the area was incredible. Some of the best swimming I’ve ever done in my life. The kids got to jump off a cliff, truly, a once in a lifetime experience
My family booked a private full day boat tour of the Amalfi Coast and it greatly exceeded our expectations. Our Captain Alex, was so knowledgeable of the entire coast and helped us have a great time. He brought us to the best swimming spots and was able to provide us with great tips for the town of Amalfi and future trips to the Amalfi Coast. I would highly recommend!

What an incredible time! This was one of the highlights of our whole trip. I brought 5 other friends with me and we hand the most wonderful time boating around the coast. We were given options of where we would like to stop (opting to stay on the water as long as possible) and plenty of swim spots! Alessandro was our guide and we was wonderful!

We started our journey from Postitano and headed towards Amalfi. It was a cooler day, so during the morning we just enjoyed ride and the views. We took a walk in Amalfi and did some shopping. We had lunch at a place only accessible by boat and then swam in a cave and snorkled. Water was a bit chilly, so we didn't last long, but still memorable. The captain was informative and nice. I would recommend this.
