We had such a fantastic time. Raul was incredibly knowledgeable about everything Panama. He was so friendly and did everything he could to make our tour amazing. We learned so much. We would have never been able to accomplish as much on our own. The timing getting to the canal with the iMax and one of the large ships coming through was perfect. This was a great tour! Dianko was the perfect tour guide, and if I ever return to Panama I would request him directly! He was flexible to meet our needs as we had spent some time the night before seeing certain areas of the city- allowing us to spend more time in other areas of interest. He made the most of our time- picking us up promptly and giving us our full time allotted. He was knowledgeable and easy to understand (English). He made things fun- pointing out a sloth, suggesting the best ceviche for lunch and pulling out a Panama flag for us to take pictures with. He was prepared for everything- including umbrellas when it down poured. We really enjoyed our time learning about the city with his help! 100% recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Panama Canal and Gatun Lake boat tour. Seeing the wildlife up close and personal was especially exciting, particularly when the monkeys climbed onto the boat. Watching firsthand how ships enter and pass through the canal locks was fascinating and gave us a greater appreciation for the engineering of the Panama Canal. Our tour guide, Javier, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and did an excellent job taking care of our needs while providing interesting and informative commentary throughout the tour. His expertise and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. This tour was a perfect combination of nature, wildlife, and history. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Panama.

Must Do if visiting Panamá

Great learning experience about the Canal of Panama. The tour guide (José) was very knowledgeable and gave the information in Spanish and English. He also answered all questions asked. The scenary is really pretty, especially if sitting on the right side of the ship. Things to consider, use a good sunscreen and reapply as the sun can be brutal. A hand fan can be beneficial if staying at the top floor of the ship. Otherwise, the view can be appreciated on the 1st and 2nd floor with AC. If you have food limitations, reach out beforehand or bring your own snacks as the menu is set and might not accomodate any dietary restrictions.

Juan is amazing!

Juan made our experience unforgettable. We learned so much and saw the not so traveled path of Panama City as well (such as the administration building). We had a private tour so we were able to spend the time how we wanted. We skipped the movie at the canal to spend more time in Old Town.

A fun day in beautiful Panama City!

We started the day with Eddie, our guide, who picked us (and our luggage) up at the hotel. We toured Old Town and visited a museum with indigenous stitched artwork called Mola. So beautiful! Then we toured the Miraflores locks where we saw the Imax movie about the construction of the canal. After that, we embarked on our ship and settled in for our cruise. It was a fabulous day! We especially appreciated the flexibility of this tour, and we were able to do all of the activities that we wanted.

A day in Panama City

Thoroughly enjoyable experience! Our guide, Enilda, was very knowledgeable and quite thorough. She was also very helpful and patient with my mom, who has difficulty in walking. Our tour started off at the bridge of the Americas, then across the Amador Causeway, where we stopped frequently to take pics. Enilda also assisted us with photos. After that we headed over to Casco Viejo. This part of the tour involved alot of walking but it was wonderful. We were able to experience the culture of the Panamanian people, their art and creativity. The old city, it's architecture and beauty is definitely worthwhile to behold. We stopped for lunch at the Central Hotel in Casco Viejo, and the food was amazing. We are vegetarian and the meals was quite enjoyable and refreshing; even the staff was very courteous and pleasant. After this, we stopped at a souvenir shop. The prices were reasonable and we shopped alot, especially as the merchants were very friendly and provided great deals. We then headed over to the Panama canal, to view the passage of a vessel through the canal and the operation of the Mira Flores locks. We were also able to view the short film on the construction of this engineering phenomenon. Enilda was truly a delightful and amazing guide. She was fluent in English and Spanish and it made communication with everyone so much easier. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Panama. It's truly a remarkable experience.
