Has to be done
It's a good way to get out on the water and see some of oslos sites.
The boat is modern and clean. The narrative is sometimes too quiet to hear.

Good value, scenic and convenient sightseeing tour
Very nice short scenic cruise, clean, on time and very safe tour. We loved the stop off at the end near the Fram and maritime museums. This allowed us to avoid a backtrack which is where we wanted to go next! Complete convenient surprise!

Lovely tour round Oslo Fjord in a perfectly quiet electric boat.
Do ask for the QR code to download the audio guide for your phone. We were not told about this so it took time to discover how to access the audio tour guide.

A wonderful experience
What a wonderful experience. The boat was quiet and on time. The crew were wonderfully helpful. But the sights of the Fjords were truly wonderful! Excellent value for money.

Nice Enough ….but
They could do a better job of explaining how to connect with the audio tour. Just putting some flyers on a table and assuming you will know what to do does not cut it! We went in February and the boat was fairly empty. In the summer…,,oh boy… Total looniness as you have to go from one side of the boat to the other to see things along the route. You might want to spend a bit more for a smaller private tour boat.

Great family trip
Great time for a family of 4. Not too strenuous, but went a fair distance. People running it were great. Took photos and shared at no extra cost.

Worth it.
Very well organized and easy to book. The sightseeing was very nice. Slow at times but totally worth it. A great way to see Oslo from a different point of view and you learn some interesting facts through the narration.

People Also Ask
Can you take a fjord tour from Oslo?
Yes, you can take Norway fjord tours from Oslo. You can board a boat in the city’s harbor to cruise out on the nearby Oslofjord for the day or travel a long way out to the region of western Norway for a cruise on a famous Norway fjord, like Naeroyfjord.
Is the Oslofjord cruise worth it?

How do I get from Oslo to the fjords?
While you can get to Oslofjord from the Oslo waterfront, it isn’t as easy to reach other Norway fjords. To reach the popular fjords, travelers fly to the nearest airport and then drive. For instance, you could fly to Bergen to visit Hardangerfjord or fly to Stavanger to visit Lysefjord.
Are the fjords better in Oslo or Bergen?

Is the water in Oslofjord saltwater?
Yes, the water in the Oslofjord is saltwater as it is connected to the North Sea by the Skagerrak strait. However, some freshwater lakes are referred to as fjords by Norwegians, including Tyrifjorden near Oslo.
Are you allowed to swim in fjords?
