Fantastic tour - a must see!!
We went to Giverny in April when all the flowers were in bloom and it was just gorgeous. The tour was very well done – the bus was beautiful and clean and the tour guides were amazing and gave us all kinds of really interesting information on the ride there. We enjoyed it greatly. My only advice is that if you spend a lot of time in the house in gardens, there’s not much time to get food so getting a Takeaway sandwich or something is probably best.

Enjoying Versailles
Nadi was a wonderful guide. She was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We were delighted to have her for our guide at Versailles and greeter at Giverny. She has a delightful way of asking questions and explaining things in a playful way. Hope you get her for your guide.

Nice.
This particular tour was 2 in one. A visit to Giverny and to Versailles. This is also the one with lunch included in a quaint nice restaurant. It was a beautiful experience.

Martijn Best Giverny Guide
Our guide Martijn van Elferen was an absolute delight. He was courteous, professional, well versed in the story of Giverny and Monet. It was an easy pick up in Paris and a lovely drive to Giverny. He has very eclectic taste in music on the drive so something for everyone. The gardens are beautiful, the house is remarkably as it was in monet’s time. Gift shop and cafe were perfect. Not overly touristy.

Loved this trip
Visiting Giverny is a must do in my opinion. I enjoyed this tour very much. My only complaint is that I wish we had more time to enjoy the house and gardens. We only had about 1.5 hours for everything.

Fabulous Tour
We had a wonderful day visiting Monet Garden in Giverny and Versailles. We were short on time so we were fortunate to book this trip before it sold out and as a result we didn’t have to forgo one of these beautiful tours. We flew in the day before and I thought the trip would be easier with some jet lag and it was. Monets garden was lovely as was the village. Versailles was spectacular. We had super friendly and knowledgable tour guides. I’m so happy we booked this tour

Great way to see Monet's gardens in Giverny!
This was a great way to get to Monet's gardens in Giverny from Paris, and to learn a bit about Monet's life and art along the way! Theo was a great guide: positive, kind, informative, and accommodating. I would recommend this tour.

Just Right
My friends and I had a terrifictrip to Giverny, traveling in the easiest, calmest way. Our driver and our guide were wonderful. We had just the right amount of information and the right amount of free time to explore this glorious place. This was my fourth trip to France but only my first to Giverny. Not to be missed!

An exceptional day experiencing Giverny & Monet’s House and Gardens. Lawerence our guide was simply brilliant. Highly recommend especially if short on time. The trip to Giverny is a lovely stress free experience & wandering around Monets garden in Spring was breathtaking

Giverny
Our guide was exceptional. On the way to Giverny he gave us a history of Monet’s life. We arrived at opening time and he guided us through the house before it got crowded. After that we were free to tour the gardens and pond. On the way back to Paris he pointed out places Monet had lived and painted. Finally he dropped us off in Paris at a very nice place for lunch. A great day.

When to visit

A Giverny tour is ideal for art enthusiasts, especially impressionism fans.
The journey to Giverny, along the banks of the Seine River and through the sunflower fields of Normandy, is almost as good as the destination.
There are no ATMs or currency exchange bureaus in the village, so be sure to bring cash.
Although hotels are available, the village's small size means availability is limited, so most people visit on day trips from Paris. Make sure to book in advance if you plan on staying overnight.
Giverny and Monet's Garden are partly accessible for wheelchair users although Monet's House is not.
