Whirlwind sample tour of the French Riviera

It was a whirlwind tour with Roxanne! I expected it would be a long day because it’s a 10 hour tour. We covered a lot of ground, as stated in the description from Nice to Monaco and in between. Definitely the best of the French Riviera. If you want more time in each area this may not be the best tour for you although it’s a great way to get a sampling of a locale to visit again. We went back to Antibes the next day because we liked it so much.

Our driver Nicole was excellent! She knew the best routes to drive to get around traffic, avoid lines at entrances and the best Italian restaurant for lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our long day. Only complaint is the van was really cramped for room. Other than that, it was great!

Terrific multi- lingual driver and guide. Thoughtfully planned excursion to beautiful locations. Clean private van drove us to the charming medieval village of Eze, drove the Monte Carlo track and visited the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo. Our driver and guide, Ranier, did a terrific job accommodating the needs of different passengers. Ranieri was a fun, interactive and knowledgeable guide who shared about the region and our specific destinations.

Great day on this tour....

Great day on this tour. Our guide was great - Amil I believe was his name. Scenery was spectacular. Loved everything about it the only disappointing part was I felt we were far too long at the Fragonard fragrance factory. As a result we were not able to tour the village of Eze which was a part of the tour. At any rate it was a fabulous sunny day and my husband and I had an absolute riot in touring in the motor bikes.

This tour was a wonderful way to see the area around Nice. The speaker provided great information/details about the area and included not only history but also some 'scoops' (like the celebrity homes in the area). Lucky for us, the weather was beautiful and the winds calm on the day we were there.
