Excellent day out and snapshot of Eze, Monaco including Monte Carlo, Antibes, Cannes and St Paul De Vence. Gio was very knowledgable, super friendly and extremely organised. We had a full day out including a guidedtour of the parfumerie at Eze, lunch at Antibes, and a walk around Monte Carlo Casino. If you’re a newbie to the Cote D’Azure, I would highly recommend this tour.
Driver/guide (Gio) was terrific - excellent driving throughout especially in Monte Carlo/Monoco. Nice to be picked up at our Hotel and flexible with our time. It was more difficult getting our tickets/confirmation or contacting the service provider than enjoying the tour.
The tour covered Eze, Grass, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Antibes, and St Paul de Venice. Great way to take in a lot of Provence in one day. Affordable, friendly shared van tour, and highly recommend.
This is the dream tour is you want to see as much of the top iconic French Riviera locations in a short amount of time! We only had 2 full days in the French Riviera and knew we wanted to see the top places: Èze-Village, Monaco, St Paul de Vance, Monte Carlo, and Cannes. At first we thought about splitting it up into two days and using public transport and Ubers but with delays, traffic, and the cost of Ubers just to go to one location we knew we didn’t want to take on that hassle. This tour took the work out of it, all we had to do was get in the van and on the way there we would get a little history about the next city and before you knew it we would arrive! Our driver was amazing and would give us advice on where to go and what to see but also gave us the freedom to freestyle it and do what our heart desires. That was perfect because some cities we wanted to really see the landscape and in others we just wanted to shop or eat. Either way this guide really allowed us to maximized our short stay. It moves quickly and you only get 30min to an hour or so in each location but that’s all you really need to get a taste of each place. It’s the perfect sampler tour. I highly recommended it save yourself the hassle of navigating it yourself. You are on vacation enjoy the stress free ride
I booked and paid for the “French Riviera in One Day from Nice shared tour” for July 3, 2026. The day before, the driver Samantha confirmed pickup at 7:30am at our Hotel via WhatsApp, then deleted the message a few hours later. No new pickup information was provided despite following up whatsapp and Viator chats. On the day of the tour, I was promptly at the hotel lobby at 7:30am, with hotel staff present who can confirm no driver arrived (there is only one hotel entrance). Despite repeated calls and WhatsApp messages, the operator did not respond until 8:12am, falsely claiming the driver had come, waited 15 minutes and left. This was untrue.
I submitted all evidence (screenshots, whatsapp, call logs) to Viator. Despite clear proof of non‑delivery, Viator refused a refund, stating “the operator has not approved it.” This is unacceptable — the service was not provided, yet Viator sided with the operator.
Avoid booking with French Riviera Sightseeing through Viator. Communication was unreliable, the operator misrepresented events and demonstrated no credibility, and Viator’s refund process left me unprotected. Reading many reviews under this tour, I am not the only one — several travelers have experienced similar problems with this operator. If you book through Viator especially this tour operator, be aware that you may have no recourse if an operator fails to deliver.
We went to the pick up spot a half an hour early and the company never showed up. They had confirmed the pick up location and time the a day before but turns out it was a scam. I’ve reached out to them many times with no response and now have the joy of trying to get our $250 back. Beware.
Parfait brought us on a very robust tour along the French Riviera. I really appreciated the early morning pickup in an air conditioned van, with good tips in each village/town we stopped in and great photo ops places. Would highly recommend taking this the first day you’re here to get a good layout of the land. Merci Beaucoup!
The trip was amazing. We were picked up by our guide Parfait at 8.30am. He gave us an great insight into both the history and geography of each town as we travelled pointing out landmarks. We saw so many wonderful towns, Eze and St.Paul de Vence being our absolute favourites.
Covered a lot of ground for one day. nice balance of driving vs personal recreational time. Parfait was a good tour guide.
It was a long day as it covered so many nice places to visit. The tour guy Armen was experienced, friendly with excellent personality. We fully recommend this tour!
Do not book this tour. It has a reputation for cancelling last minute. I waited for my tour and no one showed up. I had the receptionist call as I don’t speak French the morning of as no one showed up and she couldn’t get in contact with them and the number provided went straight to voicemail. My hotel receptionist even told me she has known that operating tour had a reputation of canceling last minute. I messaged the operator and they said they only had a tour the next day.
I reached out to Viator and they were of no help in getting a refund
Samantha was outstanding tour guide on our French Riviera tour. From beginning to end, she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive, making sure my family and I felt safe ans well taken care of the entire time. Thanks to her, we were able to truly experience the crown jewel of the French Peninsula. We can't thank her enough for such a wonderful and stress - fre journey. My sister and I just jumped into the "French Riviera in One Day" tour, and wow, it was incredible! We booked it last minute to make the most of our short time in Nice, especially with all the talk about transit strikes. Best decision ever!
Denys, our guide, was fantastic. He reached out the day before to confirm our pickup location and even suggested starting early to beat the rush hour. He handled some communication hiccups with other folks in the group like a pro, making sure everyone had a smooth experience.
Denys's knowledge of the French Riviera (and areas surrounding) was so impressive. He shared tons of great info about each spot and managed all the logistics that went with each location like a pro, from navigating busy areas to making sure we knew where to pay extra attention to get back to meeting points without confusion or delays.
Driving down the Grand Prix racetrack was a highlight for me. Denys's commentary was engaging and funny, making the whole experience feel interactive. I wouldn't have known the track's significance and complexity (or that we were on it, casually on a Thursday afternoon) without his insights during the trip!
When my sister and I had to leave early unexpectedly, Denys made it super easy for us to do so without disrupting the group. His professionalism and authentic consideration of the guest experience made this tour a standout part of our trip.
I absolutely recommend this tour, especially with Denys as your guide, to anyone visiting the area. It's an awesome itinerary that covers a TON of ground in a light and enjoyable format, all led by a top-notch guide!

On the tour you visit a lot of incredible places, but the challenge is you do not get to stop at each place for too long. You definitely have the opportunity to make the most of it, but it was a little challenging when there was only 25 minutes spent in Cannes to really enjoy it. The tour guide was more of a chauffeur than a true tour guide.
Jack was pleasant, even though we got caught up in morning traffic. He made it up to us, and we still got to experience all three destinations. It wasn’t an exclusive walking tour led by Jack—he just dropped us off at each location and we set off to explore on our own." Had a great time.

A must trip. No one should visit Nice without taking this trip. It is an excellent overview of the area. Giorgi did a great job especially with the logistics
Had a wonderful tour with our guide ROMAN, their was 8 in our group. He did a great job, we went to Eze and walked 80 steps up to top to see the marvelous views and garden. Went to Canne, saw red carpet and handprints of some celebrities. Also drove through Monaco. But if you want more time in Monaco and Monte Carlo, do the evening tour.

This is a ride between sights only. No history or conversation. Radio on. Driver drove us between sights and said there is where to go in and time to return.
The driver (Marcos) was excellent; knew his routes; kept the time well; drove safely; gave good tips. If you want a trip that stops at 7 places for anywhere from 20 - 40+" (round-trip walk); this was satisfactory. Frankly, it's too much to do in a day for my taste. Each stop suggested a 'walk to the top', or a 'walk through the market', or a 'walk around a major site'. Simply not enough time other than to do that 10" - 20" walk, round trip for anything other than getting a feel for what a central market/street/site makes available to you. For you to come back another time. Sort of like having an hors-d'oevre. Good value for 7 too brief spots. Thank you, Marcos.
Multiple popular sites were explored for about 30 minutes each location - very popular sites. Very nice driver as a person but very bouncy ride. The van was noisy and uncomfortable in the back.
Fantastic riviera tour. Packed tour lots to see great experience. Driver knowledgeable attentive & made the tour feel personal.
The agenda for sightseeing was excellently outlined. However, the driver was late and offered no apology or explanation of his delayed arrival. We were picked up in an 7 - passenger van with 9 total occupants (4 couples and the tour guide). The seats were in rows of three which meant that one of the couples could not sit together the entire excursion. In her disappointment, the wife of that couple tried to make a joke of it by saying, ‘I guess there’ll be no napping for me.’ Additionally, there was no backup plan for the rainy day forecast. So, much of the scenery and experiences were eliminated. As customers, we should have options and input regarding alternatives in the schedule, or a refund. Furthermore, the history of each city was based on the financial status of the residents versus the cultural relevance of the city. Lastly, our tour guide only became engaging at the end of the day
when asked to provide feedback for this survey.

Each stop added a new chapter to my French Extravaganza experience. Our guide David has a true talent and love for his guests! A fantastic day on the French Riviera!
Our guide, Raphael, was great. The views were spectacular. THis is the perfect way to see many cities on the coast if you don't have much time. Would recommend that Viator establish a couple of central meeting points in order to avoid delays due to morning rush hour in Nice.
Monaco was my dream. 45 minutes to wander around was not enough time.
The day was not as expected. Repeated messages to your company giving them the correct hotel went ignored. Our guide gave brief descriptions and spent more time chatting w the Greek guests. He did not take us around the sites, just dropped us off. And when asked to repeat a description, “I already told you” was inappropriate. He also cost me money as he CALLED not texted so I will be contacting you again for credit for that call- as he was in the wrong place for pickup after 5 messages w the right address. The other passengers were nice and we were all disappointed that he did not show us around. It was not as advertised. It was more of a taster of sites instead of SEEING them.
