Itinerary
Depart from your Nice hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and relax during the scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast to Monaco. Take in panoramic views of Nice during a rest stop and then arrive in the medieval village of Eze, where you tour a traditional perfumery to see how scents are created and bottled.
Next, cross the border and venture to Monaco. Visit the Old Town of Monte Carlo and enjoy some free time to explore the city.
Continue your tour with a lap around the Formula One Grand Prix circuit and then disembark at Casino Square to browse the high-end boutiques and stroll through the gardens. Return to your vehicle and head back to Nice, passing Villefranche Bay and other coastal villages.
Your day trip ends with drop-off back at your hotel.
Next, cross the border and venture to Monaco. Visit the Old Town of Monte Carlo and enjoy some free time to explore the city.

This was honestly a glorified shuttle. The tour guide had a few discussion points in the car, but then just dropped us off at each stop and pointed out two things for us to potentially go see and then I have no idea where she went, but it wasn’t very helpful considering we didn’t know where to go in each of the neighborhoods we went to and ended up wandering around aimlessly along with our entire group. Save the money and just go on the train.

They didn’t honor our request to be on same tour with friends. We had rude people who refused to switch vans. Our driver didn’t allow us enough time to see the places. Driver was half hour late and brought us back esrly

This was lovely for us taken on our first full day in Nice. It was so well guided, including how great a driver our guide is!
It was great to make several outstanding stops down on the coast! We found out enough about Monaco to not need to come back on our own, which was a bit surprising. Same with Monte Carlo - cool, but not really worth a re-visit for us.
On the other hand, Eze was so cool and outstanding! So much more than what we expected, and we made a couple of purchases as well!
The visit to the perfumery was also much better than expected, and we made a lovely purchase! (not our style!)
Just being out and getting to see so much, including high points of views in Nice, was so great! Thanks again to our tour guide that day!

Guide was friendly and helpful. Eze beautiful and worth visiting. However, visit to perfumary in Eze was not a good use of time: tour of factory area was minimal, seemed designed to get us into the shop to buy their products. Having left shop quickly, could not find guide so lost about 20 mins. Instead of perfumary, would have preferred to have had more time in Eze village itself (as we did not really have time to visit the gardens at the top, which has the best views). Monaco Old Town was good, able to visit Palace, village and see views. However, had less than 2 hours free time there so a bit rushed. Then taken to Monte Carlo to see casino, had one hour there which was ok. Driver drove too fast on the way back to Nice.

Great trip to Eze and Monte Carlo. Our guide Alex was amazing- personable, informative and so gracious. And he needed excellent driving skills in Monaco due to heavy race/visitor traffic with many tight squeezes. Having a flexible and knowledgeable guide made the whole experience. You could try and uber to these sites and walk around, but having a knowledgeable guide made it memorable in the best way. He had so many interesting and fun facts about the area. Helped secure a wonderful lunch with no wait and was great communicating to us on any logistics. Must-do experience!

Really enjoyable drive through Nice, old Nice, Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo.. plenty of time to see things.. EZE is Fantastic.. if you can make it to the top, the view is well worth it. Of Course Monaco and Monte Carlo are amazing.. the Formula 1 race was in one week so we got to drive around the track ( as normal traffic does)

Eze offers and other worldly view of the coast. The Botanical Garden is a must see and the village charming. Monaco and Monte Carlo is lovely- a big find for me was the Princess Grace Charity shop as well as lunch at Pinocchio Italian Restaurant.

Great small group tour! We travelled to Eze and a perfume factory and Monaco. We had plenty of time in each location and we had good commentary in each location and also plenty of free time to explore on our own. The perfect blend of having a guide and free time! Ian was the perfect guide. And being in a comfortable 8 person van for this excursion was great. Good value for the money.
