Overview

Get up close and personal with the scenery, and travel around with ease, when you set off on a half-day e-bike tour of the Côte d’Azur. After meeting your guide in central Nice, where you’ll pick up your electric bike and helmet, you’ll follow coastal roads to some of the region’s prettiest corners. This was an awesome tour! Definitely a highlight of our trip, what a lovely way to see so many places in a single half day tour while feeling the wind whiz through your hair on an e-bike. Seeing all of the beautiful homes and views and learning so much history was fantastic. Carmela was a great guide and we will remember this tour for years to come. Highly recommend!

I have never been on an e-bike so this was a new adventure for me. This is definitely for novice riders. There are hills and maneuvering between cars and around pedestrians. With that said, it was fabulous. Our guide Samuel was wonderful and actually switched out bikes with my husband when his battery was running low.

This is a must!

This was the most fun thing we did while on the coast! Carmela was so incredibly warm, personable and knowledgeable. Getting used to riding electric bikes, and riding them in a couple of the busier areas, was a bit overwhelming but she was so patient and encouraging. The scenery is fantastic and there’s just something different about experiencing it outside of a car or train. Carmela thought of everything- we stopped to choose our lunch and then continued on our way ending up at a picnic spot right by the water under a canopy of trees. It was a marvelous experience on every level!!

This ranked within our top 3 favorite bike tours ever! Our family loved our guide, Carmela- she was so fun and friendly- I would definitely suggest that you request her if possible. The views of Cap Ferret and all of the other scenery, along with the smell of jasmine, climbing roses, etc were just Incredible and breath-taking. The lunch picnic was delicious & we had fun the E-bikes, as they added a little exhilarating element weaving in and out of traffic and down hills along the coast. We also got to stop for about 45 mins to quickly browse the shops in villefranche Sur de mer. The entire tour was a sensory delight. Highly recommend!!!

This particular tour requires you to have prior e-biking experience to have the endurance to go up and down quite a few hills and navigate some in traffic. I’m almost 60, ride often and had no problems.

Awesome day out, guide Matt was lovely and knowledgeable. Spectacular scenery. However, things to note - if you are not confident riding a bike, this is not for you. Part of the ride is through fairly heavy traffic, the roads are narrow and it is pretty scary for those of us not used to it!! You will need to navigate intersections and traffic lights. You will be on your own, the guide cannot babysit everyone on the road, there isn’t room to all ride together. Some of the hills are also quite steep, going down fast and around corners. In saying that, it’s a long day but not overly strenuous with the electric power. But there is a reasonably amount of fitness required, some effort is needed especially up the hills. Definitely recommend but you want to be prepared for what is in store!

Had an incredible morning biking the coast with our guide, Alex! The entire experience was so well planned and managed - stops were perfectly spaced out, views were incredible, bikes worked great, and the food our guide brought was delicious. Alex was knowledgeable and warm and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our time in SOF. 10/10 recommend!

This was the highlight of my Nice vacation. Alex was a very good guide and brought a yummy lunch for us to have as a picnic on the water's edge. This is a very good way to see the scenery and get a little exercise. I highly recommend it. Great fun!

This was an amazing ride. Alex was superb sharing historical & fun facts. Light lunch was included.. We were a small group which help us to take a time at each stop. You definitely need to make sure you can handle an evoke. Traffic was intense. Alex kept us safe and we took some shortcuts. The views are breathtaking.

We booked the 4 hour Nice Tour having never ridden an electric bike and not really knowing what to expect. It was a very easy process collecting the bike and our tour guide was very knowledgeable sharing lots of information on the area. The route was also lovely along the coastal roads and paths. Would recommend this tour and the e-bike is great fun.

This was a wonderful adventure. We were a small group of 4 following our able, kind and knowledgeable guide, Samuel. We were able to enjoy the fresh air, fragrances of flowers and views of the Riviera that were spectacular. Especially memorable was our bike path tour of Saint-Jean-Cap- Ferrat, Billionaire's Peninsula. We stopped for brief treats at appropriate intervals. Riding up hills was not an issue with the e-bike. Biking in traffic at short intervals required diligent attention but was not a limiting factor to our having a wonderful experience. We highly recommend!!

This was the highlight of our Riviera trip. Such a great way to see areas of the Cote D'Azure that I'm sure we wouldn't have seen by car or by foot. Samuel was a fantastic guide and made it fun and informative. He's a true local, who speaks no less than 4 languages. The E-bikes are such a pleasure to ride. So cool to fly UP hill with ease. I'm not sure I can go back to a regular bike now! One bit of insight- don't let the picture shown with the tour mislead you-you are not traveling on country roads. You are cruising around in the city and along the coast, in and with traffic. This was a bit nerve wracking for me at times, and I kept wishing we had taken the helmets that were offered to us at the onset of the ride. The good news is, as harrowing as it feels to be side by side with cars and trucks at times, the drivers seem to be use to sharing the road with cyclists. Also, even though the bike is electric, everyone in your group should still have good bike handling skills. You will be in and out of traffic, and in and out of narrow passageways, etc. Samuel was very generous with his time and spent an extra hour touring us around. He pointed out celebrity homes and special landmarks all along the way. He took us through a local farmers' market and procured tastings for us from some of the vendors. We also enjoyed getting sandwiches in one of the villages and riding to a scenic spot to picnic. Over all, this was a very fun excursion!
