What are people saying about New Zealand

Glowing Glowing little worms.
It was a rainy day but we weren't bothered. The venue is well presented and naturally forms into its surroundings. The guides are fun and provide some great light heartedness to the experience. Our kids loved the guided tour and particularly the boat ride. As someone not fond of tight spaces (i am 6'1) i found once you get passed the first few metres there was no issue with space, i just needed to duck for a bit. Well worth the time! Interesting fact was to learn the worms use the same kind of venom as spiders to trap their prey.

Wonderful evening in Rotorua
We travelled as a group of five adults. It is suitable for all degrees of mobility. Dietary restrictions were taken into account. The welcome ceremony at the start of our visit underlined the importance and spiritual significance of said ceremony. The cultural experience prior to the meal was wonderful. It was a joyful evening and the performers appeared to enjoy it as much as the audience. It gave an insight into Maori history and culture in a very acceptable way without the audience feeling like they were attending a lecture. I would highly recommend this experience.

Impressive
Cool boat or ship, farry or whatever it is i dont know boat titles, all I know it was really good. The staff was great and patient with all onboard. The drinks like hot chocolate that was served was really bad though but the muffin was good lol. The stone carving was impressive really big with the others ot the side of it. All in all it was a great and fun experience, I do highly recommend it.

Amazing experience-disappointing gift shop
A once in a lifetime experience. We are big Tolkien fans and this tour was like walking into the world of the movies. Our tour guide Danni was great and she shared just enough to provide backstory, was open and answered all questions and gave us time to take pics and explore. The set is like being transported into the Shire. The only complaint/caution I have for LOR fans is that there is not s great collection of memorabilia in the gift shoppe for purchase. We went to Weta workshop’s gift store in Auckland snd saw many things we might have liked to have but held back because we knew we were going to Hobbiton and thought they would have a better selection. But we were so wrong! They have one design of shirt/sweatshirt for Hobbiton. If you do not like that design there no other options except a few marathon shirts left over from the recent Halflings marathon or non-unique basic LOR gear that you can buy on Amazon or online. We were disappointed and had hoped to take home some unique Hobbiton treasures and were asked to buy mementos for fellow LOR fans snd could not find much they could not just get online ( no unique magnets or stickers or good shirts). Luckily the photos we have and the memories of the tour are amazing!
