Tour of Milan
I thought it was very well explained. The only thing I didn't realize was it left you in a different spot to where we started

You can only see the inside of the theatre IF available. But truly great tour! And book it early in the day.

Very informative
Very informative and lovely tour. Able to see the workings of the theatre and the history of how it came to be then and now. Had chairs in each exhibit to sit so you didn’t have to stand the entire time.

Anybody who likes opera...
Anybody who likes opera should visit. It is very informative tour and possible to get to a place without seeing performance which of course has to be fantastic experience also but not always possible. Daniel is very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts.

Learned a lot
Excellent guide. Did not rush us through the tour. Gave us plenty of time to spend in the Opera box seats while she discussed the history of the Opera House. The museum was very educational because of the knowledge of the guide. Learned a lot about the Opera Masters as my knowledge was lean.

Very informative and interesting. The theater is magnificent with lots of history and amazing artifacts of past performers and their performances. If you love opera and ballet, this is a must see!

Excellent place to visit and to enjoy the museum
Guide was excellent and the La Scala visit was made special by some privileged access. The museum is informative and fascinating

There was some traffic...
There was some traffic baracades, so the first part was on foot, but it was an easy walk from the starting point to the Duomo, to La Scala and back to the starting point before we went by bus to the Last Supper. La Scala theater was closed, but we got to go to the musuem and were given vouchers to go see the theater another day (which my friend and I did not have the time to do).

Guide was totally informative! Easy to learn from....group was a bit too big for the venue....stage access would have added a great dimension!

When to visit

Without a performance ticket or guided theater tour, you can see the inside of the theater only by visiting La Scala Museum, which includes a quick peek into the auditorium through the third-level boxes when there is no rehearsal or performance.
Purchase performance tickets in advance to ensure a seat.
The theater and museum are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, though the guided theater tour is not.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked into the cloakroom.
