What are people saying about Mexico City

Great experience!
Aldo was fantastic! He arrived on time, was very communicative, and importantly was very knowledgeable —he is clearly an expert and enthusiastic about the history and cultural sites. He kindly adapted the tour to accommodate my pregnancy as well. Would absolutely recommend!

Xochimilco & Coyoacan, Sí!!!
Sarai is totally delightful and very knowledgeable. We especially loved our boat ride at Xochimilco -- so calm and relaxing after the hour-long drive through crazy Mexico City traffic! Also was a really good thing to start early in the morning while it was still a little cool.
Coyohuacan is charming, and I could definitely spend more time there. The Blue House gives a good idea of what Frida's (and Diego's) life was like, although it was quite crowded and difficult to see all the exhibits due to other tourists blocking the way.

Wonderfully engaging and informative tour of Mexico City! Customized to your needs and interests!
Roberto was a fabulous tour guide! We planned a 3 hour custom tour. Communications prior to our tour date with him was very strong. He proactively reached out several times and was extremely responsive. He also met us at our hotel. We had previously told him (via WhatsApp) what we were interested in seeing to ensure that it was part of his plan. We went to historic downtown and from the moment we met him, we knew the experience would be terrific, especially with his anthropology background and expertise! We learned so much about Mexico’s past and present and Mexico City itself. We loved the fact that our conversation with him was engaging throughout, covering a wide range of topics spanning history. He took us to several notable buildings, landmark locations, historical sites, museums, church/cathedral, and of course city center. He was flexible, accommodating, super pleasant and extremely professional. In fact, we enjoyed our time so much together that after our tour was over, we invited him to join us for lunch! Would highly recommend this experience - and ask for Roberto!!!

We had a fantastic time...
We had a fantastic time on our private tour to Teotihuacan with Rosa Maria. She picked us up promptly at 7 AM from our Airbnb in Roma Norte, and we were back by noon in time for lunch.
The ride was comfortable, and the tour itself was both informative and wide-ranging. Rosa Maria got us there early and smartly started at the Temple of the Feathered Serpent (don’t skip it!), which made it feel like we had the site almost entirely to ourselves for most of the tour.
She brought great energy, and her knowledge added real depth as we explored this fascinating chapter of Mesoamerican history.

Highly recommended and great guide
This tour covered a huge amount of history and culture in a single day. Our guide, Lily, was a font of knowledge and very organized, despite the challenges of a large and diverse group of people! We managed to see an Aztec archeological site, the Guadalupe Bascilica, learn about obsidian and local liquors along with local culture, shop, have a Mexican buffet, and a full visit to Teotihuacan and were still back in Mexico City by 5:30. Highly recommended

Judith was a very good driver. Very responsible, and she got us there fast both ways. Our guide Alicia was also fantastic. This is our third time for two of us in Teotihuacan and we Alicia showed us places we had never seen before. We came back home very impressed by the whole experience.

Our walking tour was the perfect first experience to get us acclimated to the city. It was a great overview of the Zocalo. Aris was very knowledgeable and thorough. I enjoyed the sites and the history and took note of where I wanted to explore further.

Engaging and Knowledgeable Guided Tour with Jonathan
Our early access tour of Chapultepec Castle and the Anthropology Museum was fantastic. Jonathan provided headsets that made it easy to hear him clearly, and his knowledge brought the history and exhibits to life.
The only suggestion would be to include a bit of self-discovery time during the tour, so guests can explore and ask Jonathan for additional commentary. Overall, an enriching and well-organized experience!

Would book again!
I don’t usually travel with tours set up. I do my own research and buy a tour book ( which I do read). This trip I had to see Frieda Kahlo’s house. Huge fan of her work. I was not disappointed. The guides were well informed and I learned a few things I didn’t know. The bus was clean and guides very pleasant. We were able to meet people from other parts of the world! Fun!! Geo was just great. We loved her and her smile.

Book it!
An absolutely fabulous day! We had a delicious breakfast in a cave, tasted local beverages, toured an obsidian market, saw the ancient city of Teotihuacán and finished at a chocolate class. I beautiful way to spend the day, with fabulous guides at every step.

Highlight of our trip!
The tour of the pyramids was the highlight of our trip to CDMX. We went on New Year's Day and had no traffic. It was basically an Uber driver who picked us up and drove us there. We got there relatively quickly (40 minutes) and met with our guide who spoke English. I sometimes had a hard time understanding him, but he was very friendly and knowledgable. The pyramids are absolutely incredible. You should not miss them. Although you cannot climb up the Pyramid of the Sun, you can on the Pyramid of the Moon, and the view is amazing. Don't miss doing that! There are a lot of vendors between the two pyramids, but not really in an annoying way. I liked some of the items they were selling and bought a magnet that I really liked and seemed like good quality.
After the tour, we were taken to a restaurant where we ordered and got served the best food on our trip. The tortilla soup was probably the best I've ever had and the mole was also fantastic. My family ordered various other things and everything was delicious. Definitely go with the tour that includes the lunch. I was so happy we did that instead of the cave lunch I originally wanted. Although it would have been cool to see the cave, I cannot imagine the food being better than what we were served on this tour. Also, the cook was a lovely woman who handmade everything herself. Great experience.
Don't hesitate to book this tour!

Better with an early start
Highly recommend this with the early start. Its well worth it when you see the bus loads of people arriving as you leave.
If anything, even earlier is better because it can get really hot. The guide was okay. Note that afterwards you are taken to tequila & mescal tasting and where you can buy souvenir, the vendors are nice and not too pushy. So glad i went.
