We had a fabulous day with Jaime! He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The depth of his knowledge of history of the areas we visited was exceptional. Jaime took us to less touristy areas to give us a more local flavor. We took the boat ride in the morning so it was quieter which helped us take in the sites. We didn’t book the trip with enough lead time to get tickets to the Frida Kahlo museum, so we visited the Diego Rivera museum instead. Walking around the back alleys of Santa Catarina and the market in Coyoacon were particular highlights. We had an authentic Mexican lunch and enjoyed getting to know Jaime more. Then we toured the market sampling mamey, chocolate and tequila! All in all we had the best time and attribute most of it to Jaime’s wonderful guidance. Would definitely book another trip with Jaime through Stepping Mexico.

Ari was our driver and guide for the day and he was absolutely amazing! He was so kind and kept asking us if we needed to stop or see anything. He was knowledgeable as well. He was a very safe driver and we had the best time at Grutuas de Tolantongo. The hot springs were unreal! I can’t believe I got to check this experience off of my bucket list. 10/10 would do this again. Honestly I was left speechless and just had a huge smile on my face most of the time. Having a private guide for the day for our group was the best decision. We got to go at our own pace and we also got to see everything we wanted.

The experience was really good even though the day was long. Alex explained the history of Aztecs, recent mexican revolutions and basilica of lady guadalupe. The travel arrangements were very comfortable and the food was great. We would highly recommend planning your mexican vacation with Amigo Tours and Alex!!

Alex was the absolute best guide I’ve ever had. He truly knows his stuff around the museum and speaks with passion. I love when you can truly see someone enjoying their work. The museum was so cool to see and the artifacts were amazing. The castle was a bit of a walk but so worth it. Highly recommend.

We took this private tour on our first day in Mexico City, and it turned out to be a really good way to start our visit. Arturo was knowledgeable and very easy to spend time with, and the tour gave us useful historical and cultural background that helped us understand the city better afterwards. What we especially appreciated was that Arturo wasn’t rigid about the itinerary. The tour actually lasted longer than originally planned, and he also took us to a few places and showed us things that weren’t part of the original plan. It felt much more personal than simply following a fixed route. Very interesting experience and a great introduction to Mexico City.

We had a wonderful tour with Ninelth. She did a great job familiarizing us with the Roma and Condesa neighborhoods and tailoring her tour to our interests. The company was also very responsive to our outreach and questions. Definitely recommend, especially as a way to acclimate on your first day!

The tour of the pyramids was the highlight of our trip to CDMX. We went on New Year's Day and had no traffic. It was basically an Uber driver who picked us up and drove us there. We got there relatively quickly (40 minutes) and met with our guide who spoke English. I sometimes had a hard time understanding him, but he was very friendly and knowledgable. The pyramids are absolutely incredible. You should not miss them. Although you cannot climb up the Pyramid of the Sun, you can on the Pyramid of the Moon, and the view is amazing. Don't miss doing that! There are a lot of vendors between the two pyramids, but not really in an annoying way. I liked some of the items they were selling and bought a magnet that I really liked and seemed like good quality. After the tour, we were taken to a restaurant where we ordered and got served the best food on our trip. The tortilla soup was probably the best I've ever had and the mole was also fantastic. My family ordered various other things and everything was delicious. Definitely go with the tour that includes the lunch. I was so happy we did that instead of the cave lunch I originally wanted. Although it would have been cool to see the cave, I cannot imagine the food being better than what we were served on this tour. Also, the cook was a lovely woman who handmade everything herself. Great experience. Don't hesitate to book this tour!

The tour is for a large group, but our guide, Alan, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Teotihuacan and its history, which made the tour much more engaging. I learned so much throughout the experience. I highly recommend the early access, as it gets very crowded later in the day.
