What are people saying about Mexico City
Quinten_B, Aug 2026
Thanks Edgar! Very helpful.
Great service by Edgar, keeping the atmosphere light with jokes while simultaneously giving a lot of fun facts about the surroundings and history. We were with a group of 16 people, and everyone seemed to get along quite well.
I recommend looking up some of the history yourself beforehand as well, it can be a bit hard to remember everything that is being said on the spot. I was not able to go to the museum of Teotihuacan due to time constraints, but I was able to explore all 3 temples.

Worth every peso — ask for Hector
Hector made this tour. My family and I spent a morning at Teotihuacán with him, and his knowledge of the site — culture, architecture, history, even archaeoastronomy — turned a walk among ruins into something far richer. On our own we would have looked at the pyramids and left. With Hector we saw the feathered serpent carvings, the puma mural, and sections where the original color still survives, each with the context that made it matter. If you're deciding whether the private tour is worth it: it is, and ask for Hector.

We had a fantastic time...
We had a fantastic time visiting the Grutas Tolantongo hot springs. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip! The scenery was beautiful and the whole experience was well organised. Our tour guide Raul was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire day, offering to take photos of us and making sure we had everything we needed. Shout out to our driver Hugo too! Highly recommend this tour!

Loved it!
Hector, Poncho, and Rodolfo did a fantastic job! Hector was very knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic, and patient. The tour was convenient and exactly what was described when I booked it. The buffet lunch is worth it and ever-so-slightly cheaper if you pay ahead. Make sure to bring cash to tip!

Brilliant way to spend an evening
A really great experience.
The meeting location was a safe sport that was easy to get to. Alex, our guide, then took us to a fantastic bar where we sampled local drinks and music, told us some history and trained us in the art of shouting chants and wearing masks ready for the arena.
He got us safely seated and, at the end of the event, he walked us all together back to our meeting spot where we could order Uber’s or walk safely back up the main road.
Fab from start to finish, could not recommend enough.

Such a dream! An absolute must.
Such an amazing experience, and SO glad I went, but be prepared. It's a LONG day! Three hours each way. While I didn't feel rushed, I would have liked to have had more time at the actual hot springs. If you're unable to swing it, this is a great option, but don't plan anything else for the day, as getting back will be difficult (think LA/ATL prime traffic gridlock). If you have a few days to spare, rent a car and stay at least 1 night to really enjoy it.
Our tour guides were awesome! Took us to the cutest cafe to have breakfast. Best coffee ever! And went to an empanada shop on our way back. If you've never been and are limited on time during your trip to CDMX, it's 10000% worth going!

An incredible day trip...
An incredible day trip from Mexico City! Puebla is beautiful, Cholula was fascinating, and the views of Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl were spectacular. We were even lucky enough to witness Popocatépetl erupt while leaving the Great Pyramid of Cholula, a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Alfonso was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, organized, and made sure everyone had a great day. Highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I had an amazing time on this tour! The two hosts were incredibly friendly and made us delicious drinks throughout the experience. The tacos were absolutely delicious, the music was great, and the atmosphere was so much fun. Everyone on the tour was welcoming and made the experience even more enjoyable. My cousin recommended this tour after doing it with her friend, and we’re so glad we took her advice. It exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for great food, drinks, music, and an unforgettable time!

Great Day in Mexico City!
Jaime was our driver and guide for our experience in Coyoacán. He was amazing. It was so easy to coordinate with him once I made the booking. He picked us up at our hotel in a lovely car and took us all around. His English is excellent as is his local knowledge. This was not our first time to Mexico City but it was a first to this particular area of the city and we did not know what to expect. The boat trip was a lot of fun and there were excellent local snacks that remained a favorite our group. We had a lovely walk through the neighborhood of
Coyoacán, to include a great coffee break, and then time at the Khalo museum. Strongly recommend both the experience and the guide.

Great tour, highly recommend
This is such an awesome experience all around! Its definitely a bucket list item. Getting to fly over Teotihuacan, breakfast on the cave and visiting the site is just breathtaking at each stop. The guides were just awesome at each step. Lastly, I’ll note that the ride between the various sites once you are there is very bumpy and should be prepared accordingly.

Great Day Trip to San Miguel de Allende – Long but Worth It
Took a day trip from Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende and overall it was a great experience. The town is beautiful, especially the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel.
Special thanks to our guides Ara, Javier, and Pedro, who were knowledgeable and kept everything running smoothly.
The only drawback is the long travel time and limited hours in San Miguel—it felt a bit rushed. Still, a good option if you’re short on time.

Do t miss this!
Teotihuacan was amazing! Don’t miss this trip. Our driver/guide Daniel was prompt and drove a comfortable, clean van. We were blown away by the pyramids and the entire avenue of the dead. Daniel explained what life was like at the village and we went up the stairs to the temple of the Moon (crawl up and go down on your rear). We had a fun tequila tasting and ate a delicious lunch. A great day!
