Great to experience the...
Great to experience the life and culture of the Berber people. The Atlas Mountains were beautiful but expect all weather conditions (about 4C when we went in April). Abdullah was a great guide who was personable and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to get a totally different perspective on Moroccan life

Day in the mountains
Achraf WhatsApp contacted me a day ahead with make/model of the car and was a cool guy fluent in 4 languages. We drove to the collective for oils, tea, gifts and he guided every step of the way, handing me off to a guide for the hike and lunch and back to Marakesh. highly recommend 6.5 hour private day.

A recommended day trip
Me and my wife really enjoyed the trip. Special thanks to Abde llatif our guide.. throughout the day he was always very friendly and helpful. Came to check on us during our dinner and offered us more food if we wanted. We had a particularly special logistics arrangement and he liasoned with our hotel to make sure everything was smooth for us. Many thanks again Abde llatif Trip timeline 3pm departure 8.30pm end of fireshow, 9.30 arrival back to Marrakesh.

Great trip!
Loved this trip very much! it was not rushy, at every stop we have good amount of time to walk around and take photos. the carpet shop was interesting although not exactly cheap (really beautiful handcraft!). the camp site was very beautiful and bonfire under the starry night, absolutely great time! we bought some drinks before heading into desert so at night we have more fun!

Sitting at the crossroads between Arabia, Europe, and Africa, Marrakech has been a welcome port of call for far-flung visitors for more than a thousand years. The maze-like medina and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Djemaa el-Fna are a testament to how much and how little has changed since the Moroccan city was founded in the 11th century. While Marrakech tours can provide a fascinating insight into the city—including architectural highlights like the Koutoubia Mosque and the Bahia Palace—many also follow in the footsteps of the old trade caravans out through the Atlas Mountains or onto the swirling sands of the Sahara Desert.
