Great way to visit Versailles

My family loved! And because we were in a group with other children, my 9 and 11yo made friends. We had Michael as a guide and he did a great job educating us about the location but also engaging the children. Definitely a full day. The bike trip finished about 330p and afterwards you have time to go inside the main building which closes about 6p, if you still have energy. Make sure you have enough to quench your thirst! And if you go on a nice sunny day, don’t forget sunscreen! ☀️

Aaron was our tour guide, and he was fantastic — full of great historical stories, incredibly patient, and impressively knowledgeable. He handled 14 curious tourists and all our questions with ease. The experience itself is wonderful, but be prepared: you’ll need to be comfortable biking long distances. And if it’s cold, definitely bring a hat, gloves, and a scarf.

Lovely way to see the...

Lovely way to see the grounds of Versailles. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up, these are not electric bikes. But I did! Only had to walk it up one little hill. It is a long day and you definitely feel it in your hips and knees if you are not fit to stay with. Great guide, lovely market stop at beginning to buy your picnic lunch.
