Lest We Forget! An amazing historical experience!
Claude provided in-depth information historically and relevant to today’s outcomes. We had 12 hours of non-stop celebration of Canadian involvement in the war! Seeing where John McCrea resided when he wrote his masterpiece in Flanders fields, experiencing Vimy with a museum and trench visit, paying respects at a cemetery with 12,000 soldiers unknown and unknown was frankly overwhelming! The Last post in Ypres was was the icing on the cake! The cost was well worth the experience!

A life changing experience
A private tour is definitely the way to go for this WW1 Experience. Our guide, Alison, was spectacular ✨ She had such a wealth of knowledge of the tactics of the war, how the soldiers were positioned, and she showed us a many cemeteries and how they were different. This was honestly a life changing experience. « Lest we forget » 🌺

Memorable day at Vimy
Michel picked us up in his impeccably clean SUV. On the way to and from Vimy he went out if his way to show us more cemeteries and was a wealth of knowledge in regards to WWI. He also helped us plan our visit to Vimy. It was a memorable day. Thank you Michel !

Excellent private tour of Vimy and other sites relevant to Canadian actions in WW1
Excellent tour with Claude. Well paced - time to do everything and spend as much time at the different locations as we wanted. Claude gave excellent guidance for how much time to spend at, for instance, the visitors centre and did not overwhelm us with information - allowing for space for reflection. Visited major sites (Vimy, Thiepval) and smaller sites (Hamel-Beaumont) but never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Lunch at a village restaurant/museum was an added treat (and included in the tour price). Learned a lot and came away with a new understanding and respect for the sacrifice of so many
