What are people saying about Khao Lak

Awesome elephant tour!
This was a wonderful small group tour and we got to feed the elephants, take lots of pictures, and talk with the guides at length about the elephants. The elephants only do what they want to do, so very respectful of the animals. And each elephant has it’s own personality and you really get to see that on this tour. Highly recommend it!

Brilliant experience
Brilliant authentic experience learning how to cook a variety of Thai dishes. Great for all skill levels, with a warm and welcoming team. Also, a remarkable selection of craft beers. Easily some of the best I've had since being in Thailand. Thank you Chef Wandee, Chef Sarah and the rest of the team!

We had a great...
We had a great experience! The bamboo rafting experience was relaxing and scenic, floating gently down the river surrounded by lush jungle. It wasn’t overly adventurous, which actually made it perfect for our two youn kids. Along the way, we were lucky enough to pick up a baby turtle out of the water and saw lots of snakes. The turtle conservatory was also great, my kids loved seeing all the baby turtles.

Great way to spend a day
We had an amazing day on our tour with Marta. Every stop was thoughtfully planned, and she made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Spending time with the elephants was unforgettable, the visit to the Buddhist temple was peaceful and meaningful, and rafting down the river was the perfect way to end the day. Marta was warm, knowledgeable, and truly a pleasure to spend time with. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Khao Lak is famous for its beautiful beaches and easy access to the Thai islands. To explore the area with ease, take one of the many Khao Lak tours on offer––there’s something for everyone. Zip over to James Bond Island, featured in The Man With the Golden Gun; hop on a traditional bamboo raft for a serene turtle-spotting excursion; or admire elephants in their natural habitat at a sanctuary. Of course, no trip to Thailand would be complete without a cooking lesson, where you can learn to whip up classic Thai dishes such as red curry and pad thai.
