What are people saying about Khao Lak

Sweet elephants!
We had so much fun hanging out with three beautiful female elephants. They seem to take great care of these animals and visitors are not allowed to touch the animals. We were able to prepare food for them, feed them by throwing bananas and sugar cane sticks near them and watched the oldest girl bathe in the river. It was an incredible visit.

Another world!
This lake is beautiful and truly makes you feel like you are in another world. The limestone cliffs are gorgeous. The visit to the cave was really cool too! We had the sweetest tour guide, Gay. Absolutely adored her as she is so much fun to be around and has great energy and fun facts to share through out the journey.

James Bond Island tour
What a great tour especially when you have a guide like Boom and canoe paddler like Kim. Getting to see where they filmed The Man with the Golden Gun was surreal especially if you’re a fan like I am. The buffet lunch was delicious and seeing the floating market and school was incredible.

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Why why and his team were very professional, informative and helpful. I’m
We had an excellent day trip with Why why and his team. They kept us informed on what we were doing where we were going and were given regular snacks and drinks. The boat was very clean and everytime you came in from the de you can shower and the boat was kept clean When we snorkelled we were given new mouth pieces. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone as it was so well organised.

Khao Lak is famous for its beautiful beaches and easy access to the Thai islands. To explore the area with ease, take one of the many Khao Lak tours on offer––there’s something for everyone. Zip over to James Bond Island, featured in The Man With the Golden Gun; hop on a traditional bamboo raft for a serene turtle-spotting excursion; or admire elephants in their natural habitat at a sanctuary. Of course, no trip to Thailand would be complete without a cooking lesson, where you can learn to whip up classic Thai dishes such as red curry and pad thai.
