Our private tour was really amazing, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made our experience memorable. Mhan was such truly lovely guide. We will hold him in our memories, u couldn’t asked for a better guide. Also a shout out to the tour company who made our experience five stars.

We booked the private tour which consisted of a shared boat En route to Surin with 25 other people. So not too crowded. We were met at 07:45 by our guide for the day the lovely Aoom. She informed us she would be our guide for the entire tour.The drive to Wow Andaman pier was only 15 mins from our hotel in khao Lak. From there Aoom did everything from towels , snorkel gear. And we even boarded the boat 15 mins before anyone else to store our bags and choose our seats. She warned us it may get bumpy and could get wet. We chose the seats aft across the boat closest to the engines. More space and although noisy , bring your own foam ear plugs but please do not throw them away afterwards.We got a few sprays of water and felt 100% safe at all times with life jackets on. It’s a long ride though 2 hours. Once at the island we jumped onto our own longtail boat for the next 4 hours . We had 2 snorkel stops of around 45 mins each which were incredible with an abundance of marine life and crystal clear waters. WOW. Aoom apologised as usually we would get taken to a secluded spot for snorkelling but as wind and tide made this unsafe we stayed pretty close but not on top of the main groups. We were then taken to a stunning secluded beach with powder sand for a private picnic. Truly incredible setting for our Christmas Day lunch 🙏😎. We then had another 45 mins snorkel in the underwater paradise, before heading to the Morgen sea gypsy village.They sell all handmade trinkets and wooden carvings. We made a few purchases, I think it’s only right to help the Morgen people. We the. Headed back across the Andoman sea to Khao Lak , better wether on the return. Bizarrely though , no life jackets on the way back. I found this very odd.

I am very happy to see that Aoom was able to help you feel safe and enjoy your trip. The Surin Islands really are stunningly beautiful. And Aoom knows these islands very well and is able to help find the best spots each day. As you say, we always try to avoid the larger groups whenever possible, but the weather and sea conditions can sometimes cause us to change our plans.
The Moken people are also very fascinating. Their village still remains mostly traditional, and their history and cultures are entirely unique.
With regards to life jackets, we do of course have life jackets available all day. Although we also realize that it can sometimes be uncomfortable to wear a wet lifejacket for 2 hours on a hot and calm day. So, on some occasions, the speedboat captain will sometimes not insist that they are warn at all times but will instead ensure that they are placed in easily accessible locations on board. Although please feel free to mention it to our guides if you would prefer to wear it. Our team are always standing by to help you to enjoy your day.

Fantastic Day and so nice to be away from the crowds. Nai the guide was brilliant. Snorkeling was great such clear water and picnic on the beach (just us) was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience. The trip includes transport to fast ferry dock, fast ferry to sea gypsy village then private long boat to access more remote snorkeling area. We were the only two people snorkeling in our area for 1.5 hours. To snorkel longer we ate provided lunch on the long boat. We then long boated to a second snorkel spot to specifically see clown fish “ Nemo” for about 40 minutes then long boat to third snorkel spot and get on fast ferry to dock then ride to hotel. Saw so many fish, jellyfish, squid, sea cucumbers, huge clams, purple coral, etc. The car driver and the long boat driver were friendly and great. Our guide, Nine, had lots of information to share about Thailand regarding culture, animals, sports, etc. we enjoyed chatting with him throughout the day. Highly recommend.

Nine really is a great guide. Very friendly and full of stories. The longtail boat is a fantastic way of getting away from the crowds. The Surin Islands have some of the best snorkeling in the world, and it is so much more enjoyable without the big groups. I hope we will be seeing you again very soon.

A perfect day in paradise.
Incredible water color, lot of beautiful fishes and corals when you snorkel. A real must do !
Excellent organisation by our guide and we appreciate a lot to be on our private longtail in order to snorkel far from the other touriste.
