Great experience. We were collected from our hotel and then introduced to our guide K. K was great, very informative and friendly. We started at the turtle conservation centre and tsunami memorial, then onto the bamboo rafts. This was amazing, so peaceful and relaxing. We then finished at the waterfall, it’s not a very big place but the kids loved swimming in the water.
Definitely recommend this one.

The rafting was fantastic, however this activity can be undertaken for £14. The additional cost to go to the sea turtle conservation and a five minute stop at a waterfall was not worth it as there is no entrance fee at the sea turtle naval base.
As we had hired a car I would have undertaken more research and just paid for rafting and travelled to the naval base and waterfall in my own car.

We had a great experience! The bamboo rafting experience was relaxing and scenic, floating gently down the river surrounded by lush jungle. It wasn’t overly adventurous, which actually made it perfect for our two youn kids. Along the way, we were lucky enough to pick up a baby turtle out of the water and saw lots of snakes. The turtle conservatory was also great, my kids loved seeing all the baby turtles.

Put on plenty of mosquito repellent before you go on the bamboo rafting!
It was a very relaxing experience and we saw a couple of lovely birds on the way
The turtle conservation sanctuary was really interesting & had a little shop & cafe, neither were very expensive.
There wasn't much water at the waterfall but made a nice quick stop on the way back

You see the sea turtle conservation centre with sea turtles at all different ages and learn about if and when they are released to the sea. This followed by bamboo rafting which was very peaceful. If you have a bad back, may not be for you. You see snakes in trees above, butterflies and dragonflies. The trip ends with a small waterfall where you can swim. Take swimwear. There is also a coffee stop and complimentary fruit/ water/coffee after the rafting.

Fantastic trip with guide Charlie. Pick up from hotel was efficient with pick up time being emailed previously. Taken to the bamboo rafting, were were gently positioned into the raft to float along in peace and quiet with only
jungle noises. I have a fear of snakes, but the ones we were shown, were safely sleeping in the trees!
After the rafting we were given bottles of cold water and fresh fruit to eat. Charlie talked us through the produce on the farm and got us trying raw chillies indifferent couples and strengths.
Then onto the Turtle conservation centre, which is within a Naval base. We were guided around the various tanks and saw turtles of different ages. Mire information is in Rnglush posters dotted around.
Try and walk to the beach which is totally unspoilt. There is a small memorial to the 2024 Tsunami.
A great half day trip suitable for the family.
Top marks to Charlie

We had a great time. Went to 3 different places and none of them for too long. The kids loved it. The raft was fun, the turtles were cute and the waterfall although small and busy was exciting

Great tour, good organized. Khun Boom was super nice and explained everything very well. We enjoyed the chill bamboo rafting tour and the sea turtle observation - nice half day trip!

Overall great experience and very well organised!!! Expect to be a bit wet and wear waterproof shoes or sandals (better not flip flops). Great to see turtles, beautiful waterfall and bamboo rafting was great as well!!! Thank you! Well organised trip!!!

Also the thoughtful touches mesnt a lot and were so welcome ie the water, coffee and water melon / all complimentary! Also the matcha latte at the cafe at the conservation centre was on point! ❤️

Very happy with this tour as my wife was so happy to see turtles and we saw snakes on the bamboo ride down the river.
Thanks Bom and Jerome very nice guide/driver

Brilliant trip from start to finish. Amazing bamboo raft ride, followed by seeing turtles then onto a dip at the waterfall

Really good trip and good value for money.
Our guid was very knowledgeable and seemed to care a lot about the turtles and conservation efforts.
The bamboo rafting was lovely and relaxing, you will get a bit wet but it's worth it for the experience. We especially enjoyed spotting the snakes and monkeys.

Great experience, more a turtle hospital so they are well looked after. Lydia or guide was wonderful, very informative. Took photos and shared them on WhatsApp which is important for solo travellers.

Was a lovely experience from. Start to finish. Our tour guide Moo was knowledgeable, kind and generous with his time.

Great / knowledgeable guide and felt so safe with the driver. Not overly long and water and fruit was a nice touch. Locations were not upo far apart and the waterfall was a great place to end our tour.

This was a lovely half day tour. The stop at the Sea Turtle Conservation Centre was very brief and we just got to see turtles of various ages swimming in concrete pools. The highlight of the tour was the bamboo rafting which took about an hour. It was great to sit on a raft as were steered down a clear creek through jungle and more open agricultural land. On the way back, we stopped at a waterfall as the guide had needed to reduce our time with the turtles.

Better than we expected. Our tour guide, Marta, was most gracious and looked after everyone in the group.

It really was a great tour.
We left at 8:40 started with the turtle due to rain, then to bamboo and then to waterfall.
It was the perfect amount of time at each location and was back by 12noon.
Our tour guide run was amazing very knowledgeable about each location and was very friendly.
Thankyou for a great morning.

Very good excursion and would recommend. Our tour guide was lovely and everything ran as it should.
The reason we're not giving five stars is for the turtle sanctuary, we wish for more information given by the guide and spoke through more. We had about an hour of "free time" but with no plaques explaining how the sanctuary is ran/ how old they are/ when they'd be released it was really just a guessing game.
We would recommend this for the bamboo rafting alone! Our "driver" was very lovely 😊

Bamboo reading was definitely the highlight. So relaxing and great to see the snakes in the trees. Good to support the turtles too.

I had limited expectations for this excursion. We arrived at the bamboo rafting area and it was all very rushed. I was hoping that the guides would be pointing out wildlife or give us some information about anything, but it felt like our guide in particular was either a bit hungover or just didn't want to be there. Stopped the raft to take phone calls etc it was bizarre.
The turtle sanctuary was decent. Learned some things on the tour from the guide.
Waterfall was a bit of a waste of time to be honest. In summer when water levels are low. It seems pointless to take people there.

The Bamboo Rafting was nice and interesting… other two activities (Sea turtles and waterfall) were an absolute joke. During the visit of the sea turtles everyone was on their own, no group tour, guidance or explanation… and the “waterfall” (the last stop) was absolutely a joke. 2meter “waterfall” were announced as the greatest thing on earth… felt like they had to add something to the tour and this was free of charge for them (more tour profit).

Fantastic bamboo rafting saw 3 snakes pointed out by guy guiding the raft . Saw the turtles at Thai navy conservation centre and then swam in the waterfall I would say non slip water shoes a real must . Great morning out lasted about 3.5 hours.

It was a great experience, very well organised! All the people were amazing! The rafting part was so nice and we saw snakes in the tree.
Martina_B, Dec 2024
The rafting was brilliant and would definitely recommend. The turtle sanctuary was sad,run down and no one there but a few workmen on their phones. Waterfall was nice and good we got there first to be able to find a space. K put tour guild was lovely but difficult to understand him at times. Great he showed us the rubber trees, haven't seen that before and him and the driver were both engaging.
henryqnchang, Oct 2024
Difficult to give a high rating under a deluge of rain. Highlight was the bamboo rafting, trying to peek through the heavy rain for snakes curled up in the trees. The marine turtle facility had little to show/demonstrate. Last stop at the waterfall was slightly hazardous due to very slippery track/steps to the falls. The views of the falls were great because of the volume of water.

Nice to get out into some Thai nature. Really quiet and peaceful. Turtle centre visit showed what a good program they have in place to get turtles back to the sea.

Good half day trip. Bamboo rafting was relaxing. Trip to sea turtle conservation centre was informative and exciting. Bad weather spoilt the trip to the waterfall. Would recommend

Guide was super helpful. Walked us through the trees and explained about the fruits available. He taught us which was edible and then cut them down for us to try. None of this was in brief but was a nice addition. A real character of a guide.
