one-of-a-kind experience learning about Buddha and the temples that honor him. Arissa was our tour guide and she was AMAZING. She is so kind and was very informative in answering all of our questions along the way. I highly recommend doing this temple tour. The lunch that is provided was so delicious. 10/10 experience!

Fantastic day visiting 3 temples, all totally different and SO interesting! Lots of travel (well worth it) and wonderful lunch provided. Our guide really made our day, thank you. Probably one of our best trips and day out in Thailand!

The Guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time with Tony seeing some beautiful Temples. The lunch at Starbus was delicious finished with special coffee grown in Thailand.

Our group visited the Khaolak 3 temple tour today. We had a great day. Our guide ‘Nine’ was very friendly and knowledgeable and this tour visited some amazingly, beautiful temples, especially the cave temple. We really enjoyed this tour.

This is a full day in the van, but the guide and driver were excellent sharing all kinds of stories and always having cold drinks and towels just when you thought you needed one.

Our tour guide, Tony, was brilliant! We ended up being the only people on this tour so Tony was our own personal photographer! He made sure we got lots of good photos and answered any questions we had. There was no rush and he let us decide what we want to look at and told us a lot of information about each temple! Would highly recommend this tour as Tony made it an amazing experience for us!! Thank you again :)

Our guide Tony was brilliant, very knowledgeable explained the first temple was approximately an hour & half away, during that time he pointed out interesting places. On arrival at the temple Tony explained about the Monks and volunteers who looked after the temple. Be aware there is over 240 steps to the entrance of the Temple cave then a further 50 steep steps to the view point, I’m not the fittest person & my husband has a new hip & knee Tony took the trouble to assist me & making sure my husband was ok. I’m proud to say I did it & so glad I did the temple & view point where amazing. Tony kept us well hydrated with water & soda, even providing wet towels to wipe our feet & freshen up. The second temple was magnificent again fabulous views of the two Buddha’s again Tony explained the history of the temple & the paints on the wall. Lunch at the Starbus Cafe the food was tasty and plentiful the hosts were polite friendly & couldn’t do enough for you. The final temple Wow Wow Wow absolutely stunning the elephant statues & all the other statues, this time we purchased flowers, candles & incense sticks to place in the temple. The only down side was the shop wasn’t open to buy souvenirs. All in all an amazing day thank you Tony for your time & support with the steps

Really enjoyed the day…a must whilst in Thailand….lunch was great but our guide Ratchanon really made day…he was very knowledgeable…we were also fortunate to have shared the day with only one other couple.

Tom was both our guide and driver for the day. We were the only people on this group tour so it turned into a private tour which was amazing. Tom personalised this tour for us and he was great at giving explanations to us as well as answering any questions we had. Such a lovely person and awesome guide. Make sure to cover your shoulders and knees as required at each monastery/temple. If you prefer to wear shorts, they just need to be covered at each place.
We first went to Tham Phaya Nagarat Monastery. There are lots of steps to climb so be prepared for it. It is set within the caves but once you get to the top, it is worth it for the views. There are lots of interesting areas within the caves for praying and meditation.
The next stop was at Wat Bang Riang. This temple had elaborate architecture and decorations. There are lots of buddhas and ones that are located further which you can take pictures of but not visit as quite far away.
We stopped for lunch at a resort style restaurant. Tom kindly asked what we preferred to eat and proceeded to call ahead so they had our lunch ready when we arrived. His care in details sets him apart. When we arrived it was a lovely setting and really great to learn more about him.
The final place to visit is Wat Bang Thong. This temple is expansive. Beware that when you do take shoes off, the tiles in the main area outside get very hot and you may want to walk on grass on the side instead. The buildings are all spectacular in their own way. Once you get inside, chandeliers adorn it and it is beautiful. The outside has many different buddhas to look at as well.
Overall, I loved this tour because of Tom and highly recommend that you try it out too. He also takes pictures on his phone for you and is willing to share them which I found really wonderful too.

Tony our guide was so nice and accommodating to our needs. He made sure we were looked after and kept cool in the 34°C heat. He was very knowledgeable about Buddhism and made the temple tour a better experience for us both.
