You can enjoy to observe lovely wild monkeys bathing in an outdoor hot spring at Snow Monkey Park. Each monkey has different personality and it's quite fun to be able to watch them from very close. After the monkey park, we are visiting an old Shinto shrine called Togakushi shrine which has been one of the most important place for the mountain worship since ancient era. The shrine and precincts forest are all covered with thick snow during the winter season. However,by snowshoeing, it is the perfect opportunity to discover areas that are inaccessible any other time of the year. Frozen bodies of water and a heavy carpet of snow make otherwise untraversable terrain accessible. I will lead you to these undisturbed areas, so you can explore and appreciate the unspoiled nature around you. I'm a National Government licensed guide interpreter as well as licensed mountain trekking guide. Let's have a cup of coffee on the snow made table and chair :)

A local guide certified by the Japan Mountain Guide Association will guide you in English on an original course that is part of Mt. Bandai Geopark and where you can see traces of an eruption. Rainwear, snow boots, and gloves are included, so you can participate empty-handed! Tours are also offered twice a day to make it easier to fit into your travel schedule. Each session is limited to five people, so it feels very private. Traditional folk tools from the snowy country have been used continuously by the Japanese people since ancient times. “Mino,” is now extremely valuable as there are fewer craftsmen making it in Japan. If you cosplay as “Kanjiki,” “Kasa,” or “Mino,” you’ll feel like you’re in a snowy country! You can also enjoy Aizu's traditional crafts and food.

The artificial lake "Kinshuko", which was created about 60 years ago, has a water level that fluctuates depending on the season. You can enjoy the change of scenery in that season. January-March is the dry season, and you can walk just past Kinshu Lake. By wearing the traditional Japanese craft "Kanjiki" You can walk on snow that is close to your height. It can only be seen in this season while observing the winter buds of trees and the footprints of animals along the way. I'm going to see a precious sight.
