My partner and I booked a full day snowshoeing adventure with Chris and we had a blast! It was both of our first times snowshoeing, and Chris was patient in explaining how to put the shoes on, and how to walk with them on different terrains during the hike. He came fully prepared with loads of snacks, emergency supplies, and even carried extra water for us during the hike. As beginners, we felt totally safe with him as our guide. He chose a route that was suitable for our fitness level. We went off trails and saw amazing views, as well as various animal tracks, interesting plants, etc that Chris pointed out. In addition to enjoying the snowy views, I felt like I learned a lot about the plants and animals that were native to that region! For lunch, we had a fun camping meal consisting of surprisingly delicious curry and rice, then made our way back down to the trailhead. To conclude this experience, we went to a cool onsen (included in the cost) that relieved all of my muscle soreness! Overall, I'd highly recommend this trip for people of all experience levels and would do it again myself! Chris will tailor the hike for you and ensure that you have a wonderful time while staying safe!
