What are people saying about Hanoi

Very fun day with excellent host. Very good value.
Well arranged tour facilitated by our excellent host Duc. Interesting visit to the historic city and temple. Fun bike ride around the village resort(could pump tyres up and have brakes checked on a couple of the bikes). Lunch was very adequate. Great adventure paddling around the lakes curcuit and caves and then the mount walk. Host was gracious, accommodating but efficient despite holiday traffic etc. Thankyou Duc and driver(sorry I don't know tour name) you are gifted hosts and basically genuine people. Easy to highly recommend.

Private food tour in Hanoi
Our food guide was very friendly and chatty. We had him to ourselves so we could ask him lots of questions about the food but also about Hanoi and Vietnam. He was very open about his food choices and his life, and asked us all about ourselves too. He was very easy to get on with and clearly enjoyed showing us his favourite places to eat. He also ate with us which was great. His food choices were lovely....nothing too adventurous or out of the ordinary...just good food.

Hoan Food Tour
We had an incredible time on this Hanoi food tour with Minh! From the moment we started, Minh’s passion for Vietnamese cuisine and culture truly shined. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, offering authentic flavors I would never have discovered on my own. Minh was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel personal and fun. I left not only full but with a deeper appreciation for Hanoi’s vibrant food scene. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting—Minh makes it unforgettable!

Do It!!!
Absolutely worth the few dollars and an afternoon of time. Our guide Brandon had a helper today and they worked together to build confidence in each other's language skills and public speaking. They knew a lot about the history of Hanoi and helped us understand the basic customs expectations before we arrived. Communication was fantastic also. This is a MUST do when in Hanoi

Waiting upon arrival
Great communication and service right to my hotel door at midnight.
So nice to have a pre booked and prepaid ride waiting for me after a 30+ hour journey to Hanoi.
Loads of “taxi” drivers offering rides at the airport (scammers) so I always rebook and pay for services before arrival.
Driver was good however spoke no English, and I enjoy talking to locals so a bit disappointing not to be able to communicate.

A Don't Miss!
Don't Miss! This was a wonderful tour! Harley and Anna were the most amazing tour guides we have had in all of Vietnam. The knowledge of history and traditions were boundless. Every question I had was answered throughly. I wish they could be our tour guides for every tour. We really, really, really enjoyed ourselves.

Incredible custom tour and education
What a fantastic program to spend time with a local student and gain their knowledge of their city and their culture. Our guide, Ben, was ev
Very informative and took great care in helping us learn as much as possible. He customized our itinerary and it was exactly what we had hoped for. Highly recommend!

My guide Thomson was...
My guide Thomson was excellent in every way and he gave me the adventure of a lifetime. I shall never forget it. I was the only one doing the tour today (my good fortune) so agreed to do the tour on the back of his motorbike! Normally it would have been a walking tour with others in the group. We explored the alley ways of the old city quarter, first stopping at Train street for tea/coffee. That experience itself was mind blowing exciting. To sit 6 inches away beside the tracks of a passing train as it whistled past; the adrenaline rush was indescribable. Next we stopped at two alleyway spots for delicious street food, sitting alongside local Vietnamese folk. I chose to leave out the third stop for Pho (wouldn’t have had room) and had dessert instead, yummy fried banana and coconut donut. This turned out to be an independent private tour with just me, so we were able to cover a lot more area around Hanoi driving past all the major landmarks, the French Quarter, lake, etc. The circumstances surrounding my experience today may not be replicated entirely because it was outside of the norm, but I would recommend Thomson as a guide. He is courteous, obliging, friendly and knowledgeable about Vietnam history and its people.

Terrific cooking class and market tour!
Alex (Trung) and Auntie were fabulous! Alex led us through a packed market and explained a variety of fruits, veggies, meats and customs while we purchased the ingredients for our cooking class. Auntie had everything ready for us at the cooking school. Everything was super clean, well organized and coordinated. Our group of 12 people made 3 items. The food we prepared was absolutely delicious. So much fun to buy, prep, cook and share a meal around the table.

Day 1 Sapa review
Day 1 review -
The journey time was gruelling over 250km of road (5-6 hours).
Once there the views were spectacular & quiet, scenic tracks in the country. Su (our guide) accommodated the group's needs and pointed out to us the best photo points. Thank you Su for looking after the group!

Fun and personal tour of Hanoi by car and foot
Got taken on the half day tour by Walter and Rose and it was lovely! We got picked up at our hotel and driven to the 5-6 of the most popular spots in Ha Noi. Our tour guides were so friendly and joyful. They offered to cater the tour to how we wanted it, as in whether we wanted to go into certain museums and attractions or spend more time or not at one area over another. We learned a lot of history and fun facts, and they took so many great photos of us. They even treated us to some egg coffee and coconut coffee. Then when we asked for a lunch recommendation they even brought us to a popular spot and helped us order (since my Vietnamese is so bad haha). We loved our time and really felt like we knew the city much better. Highly recommend!

Great food tour to sample local bites!
We had a great time with Justin! He was very friendly and fun. He really explained the local cuisine well and was very informative about the different regions of Vietnam (and why we don’t see bun cha in the US… so sad!!). Loved every bite we had and our small tour group of 4 was perfect!
