We had an absolute blast. Louis took care of us extremely well and our driver/biker was great and friendly too! This is a really good tour giving quite a unique perspective to how it is to motorbike/scooter around Hanoi. Very much recommended and should be high on your list of things to do and experience here, seeing a train on train street was a great bonus!

The Bee's Knees!

We had a wonderful time on our guided Jeep tour in Hanoi, Bee our guide was the absolute best she was super kind, knowledgeable about the area and very very funny! The places that she brought us to we would have never found on our own and are grateful we got to experience parts of Hanoi we had no idea about. On top of that Bee provided us with very tasty food and a even a little gift for some luck (which we will be keeping in our wallets)! As well would like to give a huge shout out to our driver, navigating Hanoi traffic can already be a bit hectic, coupled with the Jeeps being stick shift, you would think it would be a bad combo. It ended up being great, he maneuvered flawless and you could hardly tell he was having to do the shifting himself (though I am sure his left foot was a bit tired at the end of it). We would totally recommend this tour to anyone who happens to be in Hanoi, we had a great group and coupled with Bee's great personality it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Our food guide was very friendly and chatty. We had him to ourselves so we could ask him lots of questions about the food but also about Hanoi and Vietnam. He was very open about his food choices and his life, and asked us all about ourselves too. He was very easy to get on with and clearly enjoyed showing us his favourite places to eat. He also ate with us which was great. His food choices were lovely....nothing too adventurous or out of the ordinary...just good food.

Really well organized cooking class. We went to the market where our chef/guide explained what she was looking for and why, and also how the farmers bring their meat to market each day. We cooked 5 traditional dishes and had so much to eat at the end that we all rolled out. I think this is the best class I have ever done.

Fun and delicious

Nora did a great job explaining things and making sure we all participated in the cooking class. While we were in the market buying the ingredients needed to cook with she even tried to teach a little Vietnamese to us. We got a little off course because one of the guests have a special request and Nora tried her hardest to accommodate. In the future it would probably be better to say no to special requests but I know it is hard for them to say no because they are so accommodating. I still give her a five-star for the extreme effort she made and how pleasant she was to work with

The best part of our Hanoi visit

This is a blast! I was a little nervous about the overall riding part but Simone and Thu were amazing drivers and made the experience fun. We went to four different stops, walked around some secluded parts of the city and had so much incredible food. Would have done this again if I could have and definitely request Simone and Thu if you want the best hosts.

Great Local Food Tour

This was a great tour. Our tour guide was Thomson who is a foodie who knew all the ins and outs of great local food in HaNoi. He met us at the hotel and we tried food at 4 different places. The food we ate was wonderful, but Thomson also gave us a great tour about the history of the area and a better understanding of local customs.

Great experience. I booked this tour on day 1 to get an idea of the food and the city. The guide Pilko was exceptionally friendly and a great vibe. Can't believe he's only 19 and so talented. Really set a great tone for the rest of the trip. And don't worry the amount of food is right and doesn't make you uncomfortable also because you're walking from place to place. I had only 3 other people in the group so, that was good as well.

The cooking class was a fun, hands-on experience. Chef was an excellent teacher who demonstrated patience and humor. All recipes were provided at the end of the session. At the end of class, we consumed four dishes that we had helped prepare. We have a new appreciation for how many spices and flavorings go into the preparation of each dish.
