Acatenango climb - great experience
Very demanding but also very rewarding experience. Climbing to Fuego after the 4 hour ascend is really hard but the view is rewarding. On the other hand the views from the campsite are very nice as well. Tour very well organized, excellent and supportive guides Roberto and others. Thanks. Tracks can be crowded be prepared for that!

unique experience in the heart of Antigua
While we arrived for our tour on the right day at the right time, in true Guatemalan style, the organizers had us in their schedule for the next day and said they did not have any spots for us! However, they found a solution and booked us for a new time slot. Thankfully, our day was flexible so we could do that.
Once we arrived for our new appointment, everything went very well. Our chocolate making experience was fun. Jocelyn was entertaining as she explained how chocolate is made. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Perfect ride
This was one of the best experience we've had in Antigua. Our Guide Ethan and Daniel were very attentive and professional. They do explained some of the places, and the places we went to were really nice, places that we would have missed since it's in the surrounding city of Antigua. Definitely a must try, fun and adventurous.

Our driver Rene
Our driver Rene waited patiently for us to go through customs which took a long time as we could not access the QR code at the airport due to unavailable WiFi. Rene was a cautious, safe, friendly, helpful driver that went out of his way to make sure we were delivered safely despite all the rain and flooded streets in ANTGUA on our particular arrival day. Yes, I would highly recommend Viator.

Awesome experience
Amazing experience. It’s a steep climb, prepare mentally and physically, but not impossible. Our guides Luis and Javier were fantastic. They made sure we made it up in good timing while being mindful of rest. Don’t be afraid to take a break when you need at stops.
Try to pack lightly if not you can rent gear or a porter. It gets colder at night but not insane cold, some good layering should do the trick. The meals were just what we needed to have energy but bring extra snacks and electrolytes. Yes you can buy more on the way. Base camp is real camping style nothing fancy don’t expect luxury. I had a great time Luis and Javier made sure everyone was comfortable and fed at night including a campfire. I recommend for adventurist this group just be prepared for a challenging but not the worst 24 hours. The views at night base camp are incredible. I don’t recommend the optional hike to fuego but you can do it if weather is nice and you really feel like it. The summit hike in the morning is cooler but tougher especially that early. All in all great experience just temper expectations.

10 Star Experience!
We had a wonderful hiking tour and really enjoyed the whole experience.
Our driver Gustavo arrived about 10 minutes early to pick us up, which was great. He’s very funny and easy to talk to. He speaks Spanish, great English, German, and even a little Japanese. The ride was honestly a lot of fun.
Our tour guide Alan was also amazing. He’s very easygoing and informative. During the hike we chatted a lot and had some really great conversations. He was very patient, always checking on us, and encouraged us to take breaks when needed, which we really appreciated.
The views were absolutely breathtaking, with lots of great photo spots along the way. We also stopped midway to roast marshmallows over the volcanic heat, which was such a fun and unique experience. We were also lucky to have great weather that day.
Overall, it was an amazing experience — honestly a 10/10 for us.

Victor was amazing and...
Victor was amazing and super knowledgeable of every step of the coffee growing, harvesting and roasting process. The coffee tasting experience also included the opportunity to harvest and peel the beans for a truely immersive experience. The experts at the chocolate and textile facilities/stores were just as amazing and they really enjoy showing off their crafts to visitors. If you want to experience true Guatemalan agricultural and artisanal methods this tour is a must do!

Fantastic Antigua tour
We had the walking tour with Felix and it was fantastic. We learned so much about Antigua, not just the buildings but also its history and people. Finally he was so kind to drive us to a restaurant outside of the city after the tour - he didn’t have to do that but we really appreciated it. Book the tour with him!

The Magic of Tikal
This was a really precious once in lifetime experience in a truly magical place. Miguel was such a great guide he knows this terrain like the back of his hand he truly gave us the inside track. Tikal is an incredible place the temples the forest the wild animals surrounding us I'd do this all over again.

Alex was amazing!!
Our guide Alex was amazing!!! We had limited time in Atitlan and this was a good way to see/learn a lot in a short amount of time. You have the option to do ~1.5 hours of kayaking followed by ~1.5 hours of hiking, or you can add in a boat ride to visit some other villages in the area. Alex was good friends with the locals so we got a great look at the culture, art, and food! Alex was super helpful the entire time and was lots of fun!! He was so incredibly nice and definitely our favorite guide of our trip. I recommend you wear hiking shoes because the hike is a real hike, and they’ll bring you your shoes after kayaking so you don’t have to worry about getting them wet. There’s also an opportunity to change out of your wet clothes after the kayaking part. Bring cash with you too to pay for the boat transfers if you add in any village visits!
