Costa Rican Adventure Papagayo Peninsula Region

The ziplines were great, our group ranged in age from 7-64 and we all had a blast. The Superman run has great aerial views. The wildlife area was very nice and lots of wonderful exhibits. The buffet lunch was good with a few different options. If you are staying anywhere near the Papagayo Peninsula Region, check out the options they have available.

Waterfall Wonders!

We had a great adventure hiking to see the waterfalls, but be aware that it is not an easy hike. It can be done in good sturdy water shoes. Lots of climbing over rocks, tree branches and vines, as well as through the river of varying currents. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and our guide, Arnoldo was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and gave great instruction throughout the excursion. As he said throughout the trip “No worries!”

Bachi is the best!

Honestly, it was the best day ever! We absolutely loved our day with Heiner (aka Bachi the boss). We learned so much about CR and had a blast doing all the activities. It was for sure the highlight of our trip. Although there were other groups there, we really loved being with just our tour guide. We’ll be back to visit 🩵 pura Vida baby!

Carry an insulated...

Carry an insulated reusable water bottle during hike. It can get hot. The tour guides provide cold bottles of water, before the hike! This hike was not strenous, however there are several steps to climb and descend. The lunch buffet was excellent and you can eat as much as you want! The tour guides were friendly, informative and fun!

Excellent experience for...

Excellent experience for families; my daughters are 10 and 12 and enjoyed all of the experiences. One thing to note is that it can be a long car ride back to the hotel/resort depending on where you are staying but the guide was very knowledgeable about the different areas we traveled through which made the time in the car go by quickly. Overall the excursion was a good variety of different activities.

Great job well done

We waiting at airport for about 15 minutes, before driver arrived, but it was ok. Once everything got communicated correctly it was all good. The driver was very engaged of getting us to our hotel & very pleasantly. Very much so an experienced driver, we enjoyed the ride. More importantly we made it to our destination safely. Hopefully he will pick us back up on the 7/26/2026 @ 10:00 a.m. from the same hotel and return us back to the Airport.

Unforgettable and unique trip to Nicaragua!

Very interesting tour, I loved seeing the active Masaya Volcano, the overlook across the lakes and valleys and the old city of Granada. The restaurant they took us to was incredibly beautiful with a lush garden courtyard and excellent food. The street vendors were a little pushy in the town square. The chocolate at the cacao shop was incredible. Some of us also opted to go on a horse buggy ride and that was something new for me. The boat tour was WET as it was raining the day we went so we did not end up stopping on any island or feeding the monkeys. Our tour guide, Peter (Pedro) was incredible and a wonderful guy. He made us laugh and kept us entertained and informed the entire ride to Nicaragua (which is a long one!) we played music in the van and had a part the whole time, it was great. :)

From the very first moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the most wonderful staff team – they were not only incredibly professional and organized, but also genuinely warm, energetic, and attentive. They made sure every single guest felt included, safe, and ready to have a great time. Their smiles and positive vibes set the tone for the whole day. The food and drinks were absolutely top-notch. Right at the beginning, as we stepped in under the blazing sun, the team greeted us with generous platters of fresh watermelon and pineapple – juicy, sweet, and perfectly chilled. That first bite was pure bliss, sending a wave of cool refreshment through us and instantly melting away the summer heat. It was exactly the kind of welcome we needed to kick off the adventure with renewed energy. The local cuisine was a feast for the senses: every dish was packed with authentic, bold flavors, from perfectly grilled meats to tangy salsas and traditional sides that tasted like they came straight from a local grandmother's kitchen. It was a delicious cultural experience in itself. And let's talk about the beverages – what a selection! It’s incredible! Luis and the crew are really attentive to your needs and are always making sure you’re comfortable. We mentioned we didn’t drink and they were very attentive to that and made sure all of our pina coladas and margaritas didn’t have alcohol. They have lots of alternative options. The private beach and dinner were phenomenal! We were in paradise the whole time.

We looked at several different catamaran tours in the Flamingo area but we are so glad we chose this tour. Our family (5 adults, 1 teen) had a great time. The views of Flamingo and the surrounding area are amazing from the water. The crew was very friendly and energetic. The snorkeling was mediocre, we didn’t really see anything while snorkeling. Our family enjoyed using the water slide into the ocean and jumping from the top of the boat. The provided dinner was good. I would definitely recommend booking this tour if you are in the area!
