Perfect Family Nature Adventure!
The tour was fantastic. Alejandro, our guide, shared great insights as we traveled to each stop, making the experience even richer. During the nature walk, we spotted a variety of animals, and the trail was easy enough for kids. The coffee and cacao tour was another highlight, packed with fascinating information and truly engaging from start to finish! Very much recommend this tour!

Amazing catamaran ride! Perfect excursion!!!
Overall this excursion was exactly as advertised! I've been on some misleading adventures before, so it was refreshing to have this excursion check all the boxes! The crew were amazing! The drinks, music playlist and food were all perfect for the atmosphere! We were lucky enough to spot dolphins and the crew took their time to track them and make sure everyone had multiple sightings! The slide was fast and the jumping platform was high! I loved it, my Boys' (4 and 6) loved watching me use them! Just a little too crazy for them haha. The swimming session was amazing! My 6 year old was actually stung by a tiny jellyfish which no one even noticed. It wasn't until a crew member heard him complaining of a hurt neck that it was figured out! He promptly got some vinegar, sprayed it on his neck and it felt better instantly! Thank you! I can't remember the names of the crew, I just know there were 2 Diegos! They were all fantastic! They kept the energy high and the vibes strong! It was absolutely perfect in every way, including the Flamingo Marina being very clean and having great washroom access. The catamaran actually had a couple of urinals and toilets which is great compared to others I've been on in the past! Keep up the great work!

Good family activity
It was a great variety of activities for the kiddos. Our girls loved the horse back riding, zip lining and water slide. The hot springs took a long time to get to and were on the boring side. If we could skip something it’d be that. But other than that, our guide did a great job and we had fun.

Better than even expected!
We took this tour with Natives Way from Conchal with two kids, 11 and 8. (I will write details that might be helpful for other parents.) I was worried about the drive there because one kid is prone to car sickness but we got a seat in the front of the van, so all was fine. We stopped once for breakfast on the way, which broke it up a bit too. There were 8 people total on the tour with us. First was the hike around the volcano area, we saw some lizards, iguanas and wild turkey but no other wildlife. The hike itself was half forest and half in sun. It was cooler up in the hills, so very pleasant. The hike was mostly paved — so no crawling over boulders or anything like that, but definitely a lot of steps. I would definitely recommend sneakers for the hike. (They give you time to change into suits and water shoes for the waterfall.) You walk a short way from the hike to the waterfall. Swimming in the waterfall was so much fun and refreshing. We stayed about 20 minutes and it was my 11 year old’s favorite part. The water is COLD but feels awesome. Then we made the short drive to the hot springs. That was so much more than I expected. The setting was natural and gorgeous and the area to shower and change was clean and beautiful. (They gave us towels for the mud pit portion, so you just need towels for the waterfall, sunscreen, bug spray, swimsuit, water shoes, and a chance of clothes for the way home. They also had plenty of bottles of cold water.) Lunch came at about 2 pm. It was buffet style at a beautiful open air restaurant. I thought the food was plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend this tour through Natives’ Way. Our guide Daphne and our driver were very wonderful!

With alluring beaches and rainforests, Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province offers some phenomenal backdrops for exciting outdoor vacation activities. It’s the ideal spot for active and adventurous travelers to sign up for ziplining through the jungle canopy, hiking to tropical waterfalls, riding an ATV along secluded beaches, or swimming in volcanic hot springs. Other Guanacaste tours include ocean snorkeling, sunset cruises, river tubing, or boating through the mangroves. If you’re looking for something a little more laid-back, you can take tours that focus on coffee, chocolate, or mezcal tasting.
